In the eyes of people she was perfect, everyone either loved her or envied her. No in between.
"What would a girl like her be doing...
The girl was frightened. "RUN!" She said trying to hit Tanjiro. "Im being controlled! These arent my movements! I was never this strong!" She said as she attacked left and right.
The demon controling her turned her arms back, causing her back to crack letting a loud scream escape her mouth.
She kept on attacking Tanjiro, as she cried in pain.
You looked around and saw more demon slayers emerging from the distance. "Shit.." You said.
"P..Pleasee." One of them began to talk "Please kill me. M-My arms and legs are.. p-piercing my organs.." The seight in front of you..
It reminded you of your mothers corpse.. It made you furious. You began digging into your skin on your thighs. That was until you felt someone grab your arms and push them away from your skin. It was Inosuke.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?! Did a demon get to you and now you're killing yourself?!" He frowned underneath his mask.
You shook your head and got in a fighting stance.
"Please.." Another one said. "We're done for anyway."
"Alright, sure thing." Inosuke said taking out his sword.
"Wait, Inosuke, we can help them!" Tanjiro said.
"He asked us to kill him tho." Inosuke said as he fought the boy.
"Y/n, do the thing with the demon slayers you did with the corpse that attacked Inosuke!" Tanjiro said, as he grabbed the girl, and threw her over the branch to let her hang there.
You nodded your head and did the same.
"WHATS UP WITH THAT! I WANT TO DO THAT TOO!" Inosuke said, before doing it himself. "DID YOU SEE IT? PRETTY AMAZING ARENT I?!"
"Sorry kinda missed it!" Tanjiro chuckled.
"Inosuke!" You called out, bringing his attention. You threw 2 bodies at him, and he immidietly threw them over a branch. "That was amazing!" You ran over to him and jumped on his back to annoy him.
"OI, GET YOUR FAT ASS OF ME!" He yelled.
"Fine, you weakling!" You kicked him as you got off.
After some time, you finished with the demon slayers.
"LOOK I THREW MORE THAN BOTH OF YOU!" He yelled.
"Great job Inosuke.." You smiled at him.
"STOP DOING THAT!"
"What?" You smirked. "Do I make you nervous..?"
"H-Hahh?" He was stunned back.
You got close to him, and lifted his mask only to reveal his extra red face. "I guess I do."
With that you walked away.
"S-SHUSH DONT GET SO COCKY! NOTHING CAN MAKE LORD INOSUKE OF THE MOUNTAINS NERVOUS, ESPECIALLY A WOMAN!"
"Im just joking with you.." You rolled your eyes. "Still it was just a compliment, calm down."
"Well it makes me feel weak!"
"You don't have to always put up a strong personality with me." You said. He watched wind blow your hair out, and the moon reflect in your red eyes.
Suddenly, a spark appeared in his eyes.
He felt weak. And for the first time, he didn't mind it?
You were both cut out of your moment, when a crunch noise was made, and all the demon slayers necks was turned.
You sighed. "Rest in peace." looking over at Tanjiro, you noticed him crying a bit. You walked over to him gripping his hand tightly. "They're in a better place."
He wiped his tears off and smiled at you gripping your hand back. That was until Inosuke ran in betwen you, seperating both you and Tanjiro.
"The're is no time to waste! Follow me!" Inosuke said, suddenly grabbing your hand and making a run for it in the forest. You were stunned back for a moment. But.. You didn't mind. You gripped his hand back and continued to run.
As you made it deep into a forest, a tall figure appeared. "IM GOING TO SLICE IT'S HEAD OFF!" Inosuke said letting go of you and taking his swords out.
He was about to attack, before noticing that the demon doesn't have a head. It was still being controlled by the threads tho. It suddenly threw a punch at the floor, stumbling the ground.
"WHAT DO WE DO NOW?!" Inosuke panicked.
"Calm down Inosuke!" Tanjiro said.
"I know what to do- WAIT INOSUKE!" I yelled out. Inosuke ran towards it, but in the end was cut and sent back.
"IM A DEAD MAN!" He yelled out.
Tanjiro went over to slice off his threads, but they kept coming back.
"INOSUKE, TAKE DOWN HIS ARMS, THE BLADES ARE 80% OF HIS STRENGHT!"
He did as you said, and soon after you launched yourself off Tanjiro.
"Fire breathing: 4th form.." You said as you prepared your attack "Blooming flame Undulation!" With that you took down the demon.
"WELL DONE YN!" Tanjiro said as he came over to you to cup your hands. He was cut off when Inosuke threw him in the air.
"Why'd you do that?" I asked.
"To kill the demon, dumbass." He answered. And a bit of jealousy.
"Oh right." You laughed. He looked at you in awe. "Inosuke?"
He hummed in response. "Can you take your mask off?"
"Huh?! WHy?!"
You blushed a bit. "It hides your features."
He took it off, and frowned. "If you're saying I'm pretty then-"
"NONONONO D-DONT TAKE ME WRONG DAMNIT! I-I JU-"
"IF YOU'RE SAYING IM PRETTY THEN FINE BECAUSE YOU DONT LOOK TOO BAD WHEN YOU DO YOUR STUPID ANNOYING SMILEY FACE EITHER!"
You made eye contact for a moment, both of your expressions going calm.
Boom.
