- I just want to say as a disclaimer, sexual assault is inexcusable and the tv show's characterisation of Aegon's history of rape should not be forgotten, the same thing goes for his illegitimate children and visiting the child fighting rings, completely inexcusable. Having said that, this story won't feature those plot points. I find Aegon a very interesting character (and I'm a simp for Tom), and will be trying to combine both tv show and book plot points when writing this, and from my read of Aegon in the books, he was not a rapist (although I may have missed clues, please tell me if I did).
