I knew the universe hated me but didn't know it hated me this much. Looks like I'm the villain of my own life at this point. As if my dad's phone call wasn't enough to ruin my day now this nuisance . I had just ruined my shirt and a stranger's tuxedo. And my meeting is in just 30 minutes.
Like are people so blind these days that they can't see a person walking in their lane ? I know for a fact that it wasn't my fault . When I was walking towards the elevator there was not even a single soul in my eyesight.
I don't know from where that man came in front of me which caused my coffee to spill on both of us. And he had the audacity to blame it on me as if he wasn't the cause of this whole nuisance.
I was too blinded by rage and frustration that I did not notice the woman standing beside him. I realized a little too late.
I was busy arguing with him and giving excuses to defend my actions when he said something and my attention moved to his appearance which caught me off guard.
His face was so chiseled and his jaw sharp as knife, he had really long and curly lashes which made me envy him. He had beautiful champagne colored eyes, my eyes moved from his eyes to his brows and just beside his left brow was a small scar.
He had beautiful brown curly hair. It looked a little messy but it didn't come off as unprofessional but enhanced his personality even more. I could literally stare at his face all day but his words made me exit my trail of thoughts.
"I am Dhanush Nair, Managing Director of Quantum Tech" the man said extending his right hand
It took me some time to process what he said. And that's when realization hit me, I looked at the woman beside him and remembered where I had seen her before.
It was Martha the landlord's assistant, and the man I had spilled my drink on was none other than the landlord himself.
I was too shocked by the realization and could feel the blood rush to my cheek from the embarrassment and guilt.
I initially hesitated to introduce myself thinking to myself that what if he terminates the contract and blacklists me from getting a property on lease, he was powerful and had connections off course.

I was so scared of the consequences and was ready to go back to past and fix this situation but it was out of my hands, so I did what was best for me and asked for forgiveness out of obligations but that ungrateful asshole decided to give me a cold shoulder and left in a hurry without giving me any second glances.
