A/N - So, same backstory for Hiccup as the AU this is based after, but not for Jack. Jack isn't outcasted like Hiccup or anything, I forget the exact details, but he is not a guardian, and the whole rotg story line hasn't really happened yet. He still has powers and stuff, still has to be believed in to be seen, and all that stuff. Forgive me if I've left something out, I don't have the entire story drafted out yet, really just a chapter or two written out in my head.
Also, I know I ripped off part of another Wattpad Hijack fic, I just can't remember which part, or what fic. So sorry to whoever made the fic, if you happen to read this. But maybe someone could tell me who I ripped off, so I can apologize in the comments of their fic? Pls and thank you!

Jack pov
Welp, this was a stupid plan. I just wanted to have a little fun, and now I'm being chased by a bunch of angry dragon trappers. No, they didn't have any dragons with them, but just from their clothes, I could tell. Dragon skin as clothes is a clear sign.
But on the plus side, these people believe in me!
Ok, probably not the best group to believe in me, seeing as they're trying to hunt me down, and my frost is leaving a clear trail. I can't even risk flying right now, as it would risk running into a tree! Stupid forest.
I'm currently jumping across tree branches to attempt to shake the trappers off my tail, but bright, sparkly white frost is pretty visible in a green and brown forest.
Then I see an opening to lose them, and I take it. They can't see me very well at their distance, so I take advantage of that fact and jump up, instead of forward, and hide in the foliage, and try not to touch anything, so I don't give my position away.
The hunters catch up, and look around confused because they don't see the frost trail anymore. Not that a trail of frost is exactly natural for human beings, but they don't know that I'm a spirit.
After a minute, one spots the frost covering a few leaves around me and shouts out to the others. And that's my queue to leave! I jump out of my hiding place, which stuns them for a few seconds. And that gives me a few seconds head start.
I jump out into a clearing, but I don't immediately call out to the wind. I'd rather not be hunted by every idiot who believes the tale of the flying witch that leaves frost trails, or something like that.
I keep on running, and I find a dragon curled up around a small boy, who looks to be around my physical age (not actual, because 300 is not a normal age for a human being). I hesitate for a second, before calling out to the large black dragon. Since dragons are part spirit, they would be able to see and hear me.
At my shout, the dragon startles awake and looks around wildly for a moment, before spotting me, and recognizing me as a spirit.
"You've gotta get outa here! There are dragon hunters coming this way, now help me wake the kid up, so he can get out of here too."
The dragon nods, and nudges the boy gently.
"Mmmhh, Toothless, stop," the boy groans out at the dragon. "Ugh, fine!" he gives in at the dragon's persistence.
He opens his eyes and spots me almost immediately.
"Who are you?"
So he can see me too... Interesting.
"No time for introductions, dragon hunters are coming this way, and fast. If you don't want your dragon to be killed."
He stares at me for a moment before accepting my words.

Hiccup pov
After accepting this boy's words as true, I struggle to get up. The wound in my leg from the other day hurts like hell when I try to put weight on it.
"Here," the boy grabs my arm and drags me upright, supporting my weight, allowing Toothless to stand up.
"Can you help me get on his back?" I ask.
"Yea, sure," he walks forward a step, bringing me with him, then lifts me up by the waist to set me down on Toothless' back.
He's surprisingly strong, despite looking just as twig like as myself.
"Get on," I tell him.
He looks at me in surprise for a moment before obeying.
I pat Toothless on the head, a sign telling him to take off.
Once we're in the air, it's clear that if we were any slower, we wouldn't have gotten off the ground, as a group of men burst out into the clearing where we just were.
"Jeeze, that was close," the white haired boy states, looking back over his shoulder, waving at the men.
"Yeah, way too close. Wait, why are you waving at them?"
"Typical reaction to people who were chasing you through the forest for a good while, am I right?" he asks, more like states, with a grin.
I stare at him over my shoulder in bewilderment. "No. No it is not."
"Huh."
