Dear Diary,

Everybody knows that boy everyone tells you to stay away from. The bad boy, fuckboy or call him whatever you want. A boy who just pulls your triggers in every end and really fucking pisses you off.

In my pov it's Rafe Cameron. He really is a pain in the ass. And just can't leave me or other people alone. But i am gonna be honest with you here, i kinda like it. I mean he is hot. Really hot.
That's a word i cannot say out loud or else i will get a fist punched in my face. Who you may ask, Sarah Cameron, Rafe's sister, my best friend. And i may be cold as fuck on the outside, but i could never do that to my best friend. NEVER.

Bea Holliday

My dad died when I was ten. I know what you're thinking, what a way to start a story. Well, it's true, and this is my story.

"Bea, breakfast!"

And that's Mom. She really is the best. I know every kid says that about their parents, but she's been my rock. Every soccer game, first love, first heartbreak, first time I tried alcohol (didn't go well), and every doctor's appointment. I got diagnosed with diabetes pretty early, but that didn't stop me from being a total ADHD kid. And no, I don't have ADHD, but it might seem like it when I get a little touch of alcohol.

"Coming, Mom!" I replied. In a hurry, I ran downstairs and took a bite of the French toast she made for me.

"Morning, sweetie. Big plans today?" she asked, smiling warmly.

"Just hanging out with Sarah and the gang," I said, trying to sound casual. But the truth was, today felt different. There was a nervous excitement bubbling inside me.

Sarah Cameron is my best friend. We've been inseparable since we were kids, navigating the highs and lows of life in the Outer Banks together. From sun-soaked beach days to midnight adventures, she's been there through it all.

I grabbed my phone and shot Sarah a quick text: Ready for today? We had plans to meet up with John B, Kiara, Pope, and JJ. It had been a while since we all hung out together, and I was looking forward to the distraction.

As I finished breakfast, Mom gave me a knowing look. "Remember to take it easy, Bea. And make sure you have your insulin."

"Got it, Mom," I said, rolling my eyes playfully but appreciating her concern. Living with diabetes was a constant balancing act, but I managed.

The familiar sound of a car horn honking outside signaled Sarah's arrival. I grabbed my bag and headed out the door. Sarah was leaning out of the window of her Jeep, grinning from ear to ear.

"Hey, Bea! Ready to go?" she called out.

"Absolutely," I replied, hopping into the passenger seat. As we drove off, the wind whipping through our hair, I felt a sense of freedom and anticipation. Today was going to be a good day.

We met up with the others at our usual spot, a secluded stretch of beach that was our little secret. The sun was shining, and the waves crashed rhythmically against the shore. It felt like old times, but there was an undercurrent of something new, something exciting.

"Hey, guys!" John B greeted us, his signature smile lighting up his face. KiaraPope answered Natalie were already setting up a beach blanket, and JJ was fiddling with a portable speaker.

"Perfect day for a beach hangout," Kiara said, looking up at the clear blue sky.
