A week had passed and left Luna with an almost unhoped-for semblance of respite. Despite a few complications in her apartment, calm had returned and there was no trace of any "D" sending her strange messages. everything was almost normal. Almost.

But her daily life wasn't as peaceful, Eoghan had decided to leave a can of coffee in Luna's locker every morning, which was more than a little unusual. Unexpectedly, Luna didn't mind the attention, and the blonde was gradually coming to appreciate the so-called Cold Prince.

However, the young man didn't stop there: he greeted Luna every time he passed her, and did so for as long as Cara and Taho laughed at each of his incongruous appearances, making Luna blush with embarrassment. A big smile, a nod of the head, a wave of the hand - anything to make sure Luna didn't forget Eoghan's existence.

The group of friends had a few hours to kill, and had gathered in the university courtyard to enjoy the sunshine peeking through the treetops. Seated on a bench away from the rest of the students, the three of them were chatting about light subjects.

At that moment, Luna thought how she wished Emi were there, so that she could take part in their lighter topics and take her mind off all those painful moments she was facing at her mother's bedside. Luna sincerely loved Emi and Emi sincerely loved Luna, the two friends were just tortured by their respective pasts and presents.

While Luna daydreamed, lost in thought, and Taho and Cara laughed out loud, a mass of people gradually formed in the center of the entrance to the university's east wing. This mass, which gradually became so large, caught the attention of our group of friends. Rows of disorganized, agitated and panicked students danced around a central element.

A young man on the ground was shaking, his head half inverted, bleeding profusely and appearing to be trying to hold back the fast-flowing blood. Luna was shocked by the sight, not only because it was shocking, nor because so few people were there to help the young man, she was shocked by the man's simple appearance.

You look so much like him.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, a medical team arrived, taking the man with them. He stood up, trembling and panting. Luna wanted to look away, but her gaze was drawn to the blood-stained T-shirt stuck to the young man's back. A strange letter pattern appeared on it, with a message written on it

Let's start the game.

Luna panicked and ran out of the university, her breath catching and her eyes watering. She didn't know why, really, she'd stormed off without warning her friends who'd stood by, calling her name as they watched her walk away.

Whispers were roaring in the young woman's ears, gossip, questions, everyone wondering who the bloodied young man was who had appeared out of nowhere, seemingly hiding some strange secret. Luna, on the other hand, was not at all interested in the man himself, but rather what she was doing with him and the strange message hidden on the back of his shirt.

What's your first move, Luna? D.

This time it was her phone that rang. This mysterious "D" seemed to be enjoying this one-way conversation. Luna gasped, panicked, terrified, petrified, the phone crushed in her clammy hands, letting heavy tears roll down her cheeks.

"Need help?"

The voice wasn't familiar, far from it, and partly expecting to see Eoghan as she'd become accustomed, an entirely different figure presented himself to her.

Large, icy green eyes and hair that contrasted sharply were looking down at her, holding out his hand. Seeing that Luna wasn't going to grasp it, Kyo bent down, his gaze defiant and a sneer drawn on his lips, he took the young woman's hand and placed a kiss on her back.
