Lucian: How did they become monsters through alchemy? Hmm... they've got no Greed, only anger, malice and hatred. And... that makes them even stronger than the Greed themselves.
(Suddenly Yelan pats his shoulder.)
Yelan: Follow me.
(Lucian and Yelan get out of the hospital room as Tsubasa brings out her laptop, and turns it on. Yelan pulls out her USB Driver, and then she plugs it in the laptop, and they then find out some videos showing the powers of Black Fire, Black Ice, Black Wind and Black Ground.)
Tsubasa: What the hell...?
Maria: Whoever gave them those powers must be extremely powerful.
(The next footage shows the origins of the Gotchardriver, who was originally unnamed and created by the one known as the "True Master of Alchemy", but someone betrayed the Alchemy Academy and tried to ose it for devious purposes, which led him to get killed by the "True Master of Alchemy", who then entrusted the driver to Shimo. The Gotchardriver is equipped with an advanced material transmutation function, and only when the forces are balanced can multiple transmutation of a human and two Chemies be performed. Due to it being transmuted, it uses a supernatural Chemy as its material, and Gotchard's ability to freely perform transmutation on his own body originates from that Chemy.)
Hibiki: Who is this Supernatural Chemy?
Chris: And who is this "True Master of Alchemy"?
(They think for a while until they shrug it off, and decide to play another footage that shows the origins of the Dreadriver. It's equipped with advanced material transmutation functions, and can perform multiple transmutation by consuming Repli Chemy Cards. It was created from Malgam fragments as the crystallization of human malice. But to complete it, Mai needed to use the energy of a Chemy named UFO-X to complete the Dreadriver.)
Amber: Isn't this... extreme? Even for an alchemist?
Lumine: I heard about "Everything's worth in love and war.", but this doesn't make sense.
(Then another footage is played, showing the Alchemisdriver's origins. The "True Master of Alchemy" created said driver basing it on Gotchardriver, equipping it with an advanced material transmutation function, and only when the forces of the two Ride Chemy Cards are balanced can multiple transmutation of a human and two Chemies be performed.)
Esdeath: This one lacked originality, don't you think?
Girls: (unison) Yep.
(The next foootage shows the Valvarusher, a special transmutation tool created by Shinomura Kagerou himself. Ride Chemy Cards can be loaded to enable Valvarad to be transmuted. It also functions as a weapon for both shooting and slashing, and performs a variety of special attacks that are given the characteristics of the Ride Chemy Card. Additional Vehicle Chemies can be added onto Valvarad as armor through enhancement transmutation.)
Akame: Now I know where both Shimo and Mai took such mastery over alchemy.
Ryuko: But... what about this "True Master of Alchemy"?
Satsuki: Calm down, we'll still find out.
Eula: But what are those Malgams and Chemies anyway?
(Another footage is then seen as it shows a group of 101 artificial lifeforms created by alchemists. They are named as "Chemies", and each individual Chemy possesses a supernatural power that can easily change the order of the world. They were sealed into the by a former clan of alchemists, because once a Chemy gets in contact with human malice, it can turn a malicious human into a Malgam, who is considered an abomination in Alchemist society, so much so that they have an Alchemical Law expressly aimed against their creation: "No Chemy must come into contact with Human malice.")
