Since she hadn't taken even a bite of anything in her mouth since morning, now her hunger had intensified seeing Aurang bringing a tray of delicious-looking sandwiches and a glass of juice.
"Let's eat something and then you should have some rest before I arrange everything," Aurang told her as he walked up to her.
Andaleeb nodded with a smile. A bit of rest was really necessary for now. Aurang sat next to her on the edge of the bed.
"That's the only thing I could have arranged for now," he chuckled, referring to the sandwiches.
"It's totally fine, Aurang. We can manage it together," she told him, truthfully.
The sandwiches were really tasty as their look suggested and she ate more than she usually did because of the increased appetite.
"Have this juice," he offered her.
She took it with a grateful smile. "Thank you." The eagerness of thirst was so great that she drank the whole juice in one sip. "That was amazing. So soothing to drink."
"It is, indeed," he whispered with a smirk.
But suddenly Andaleeb felt her head spinning and the sight of Aurang sitting in front of her became hazy. Soon a faint headache started but she was able to suppress it by consuming a few sips of water. Maybe the swift turn of events had affected her this way as well.
"I really feel weird gobbling it all when you are sitting here like this," she said, as she noticed Aurang just eating a few bites. The diziness again made it view murky but she still couldn't understand what happened to her.
He grinned and held her hand. "It's okay, dear. I am not very hungry for food. "
Aurang's words made her still and his expressions made it clear that what she felt wasn't wrong. He was staring at her lips and then soon his hand followed his movement. He nudged the edge of her lower lip with his thumb and here Andaleeb gasped. The touch felt weird and uncomfortable.
"A bit of sauce was smudged on your lower lip, Andi," he murmured, huskily.
Realization hit her expressions and she herself felt. "Oh, I didn't know. Thanks for your help."
A dark emotion occupied Aurang's eyes before he slipped nearer to her. Andaleeb felt jammed up at this sudden closeness, an unusual feeling. He grabbed her hand and ran his hand upward from her wrist to her arm. Before he could proceed further, she stopped him.
"What are you doing?" She rasped in confusion.
He raised a brow. "What do you mean? We love each other and we are dating. My touch shouldn't bother you, sweetheart."
She shook her head. "We aren't married yet, Aurang. We can't become intimate before marriage."
He chuckled and stroked her nose tip. "You girls can fall in love, date, go alone anywhere, and flee from your house for a guy but you can't trust a man enough to let him touch you? What kind of love is this? We will get married. What difference will it make if I claim you as mine before the actual three I do words? After all, it's going to be who will get to touch your body afterward too."
