Ennet's Crimson Witch

Chapter 10

The hit threw Alex across the roof.

Ennet could hardly believe it. His body moved so naturally despite the whole action being so unusual. The kick released so much mana and energy that it caused an explosion, one audible enough that it could be heard across the school.

"Was that..."

He looked at his legs.

He could still feel it.

His heart was rushing but at least it's over now.

He looks over at where Alex flew.

Alex is gone.

"Huh..."

Suddenly he felt something grab him by the waist. Ennet got thrown across the roof and past the rooftop railings.

"SHIT!" He yelled.

He tries to turn around to save himself but it's to no avail.

Right as he was about to give up, he felt the air underneath his body slow his fall.

"What were you standing around for!" A voice says.

He opens his eyes. Its Myne.

Myne stood on the rooftop. She looks like she just threw something.

She was the one that grabbed him.

Right above her was Alex suspended on the air but still slowly moving towards her.

"Did he... lunge at me..."

Myne looks right at Alex. He had anger written all over his face. Ennet's hit did damage, but it clearly wasn't close to enough.

"Alex. It's time to stop this." She said.

"Not yet! We're not done! Why did you—" He yelled.

"Alex im gay!" She yelled.

Alex pauses. A moment of shock followed by a moment of thought.

"Oh!" He said,

"Why didn't you just say so."

Myne immediately drops him from the air. He falls directly on his face.

The school's security guard arrives at the roof.

"We heard a loud sound followed by a lot of mana. What happened here." He said.

He gives them a confused look upon seeing Alex on the floor and Myne standing over him.

"It was a rejection..." Alex said.

The guard immediately left.

"It's just some varsities. I told them off." He said to his comms.

Myne lets out a sigh before dropping down to get Ennet.

Ennet laid on the grass beside the school. His uniform was messy and dirty, and his body was bruised.

"How'd it go?" She asked him.

"Did you know he was after me?" He asked.

"Yeah but I couldn't find you anywhere."

"What— so you just—"

Ennet sighed.

"You got there just in time..." He said. Myne smiles at him.

Ennet stands up.

"Myne can you clean up my clothes?" He said.

"Sure—" Myne's body stopped as soon as her mind realized. He just bossed her around, and she reacted to automatically like it was routine. The last time he did this sort of thing was two years ago.
