Chapter 1:- Ragini's Interview!!!!

So the scene starts with a girl praying in front of tulsi and singing aarti. She has tears in her eyes.

"Please God, give me the strength to face the situation. I don't know why my family wants me to marry that guy. I don't want to marry him. I want to do something and grow in my career, but they all just see me as a burden and want me to marry that guy," she said with tears in her eyes.

"Ragini," said a girl happily.

"Yes, the person was Ragini," and she turned around and said, "Swara," with a smile to hide her tears.

"Good morning, Ragini. I am so happy for you that you will finally get married."

Ragini was shocked hearing it.

"I didn't expect this from Swara. I thought she would respect my dreams, support them, and not let me get married. But she did the opposite. I thought that Swara would understand before I said anything, but she didn't hear what I said," thought Ragini in her mind, hurt.

"Ragini, finally you will get the love of your life," said Swara with a bright smile, hurting Ragini more.

"Swara, I have told you multiple times that I want to make myself independent. I am not at all interested in marriage," said Ragini with fire in her eyes.

"Ragini, you can't speak to Swara like this. She is elder than you, and about marriage, the elders have already decided. So, you will not utter anything. The family is coming in the evening to meet you," said Shekhar sternly.

"But Papa, Ragini, but Shekhar showed her his hand and stopped her in the middle by saying, "No more words, Ragini."

She was on the edge of crying, but she motivated herself.

"Ragini, don't show your weak side to anyone. Today you have an interview. You should be focusing on it and make sure it goes well," she said to herself.

Everyone was sitting at the dining table.

"Ragini, today you will not go out because the Maheshwari family is coming to see you," said Dadi sternly, ordering her.

"But Dadi, today I have an interview, and I need to go. I promise I will be on time," said Ragini, keeping her point.

"Don't you understand what Maa is saying? You will not go anywhere," said Shekhar sternly.

"I will surely go, and I will also see who will stop me. By the way, the Maheshwari family is coming around 5 pm, and I have an interview at 1 pm. There is a lot of time in between," said Ragini in anger.

They all didn't want to let her go, but she had a point. That's why none stopped her at 12. Ragini started to head towards her office but saw an accident happening. She saw that no one was helping out the person, and her little daughter was asking for help from everyone. Ragini looked at her watch.

"I know I am getting late for the interview, but right now this little girl needs me more. I should help her out," Ragini said to herself.

She headed towards the girl and helped her out. She took her father to the hospital.

"Would you like to have a chocolate?" said Ragini, looking at the girl.

"No, my papa," she said, crying.

"Please believe in God. He will surely cure your father soon. Don't cry," said Ragini, consoling her.

After half an hour, the doctor came and informed that the patient is fine. Ragini thanked the doctor and went to the office for the interview. She was almost an hour late.

"Hi, I am Ragini. I had applied for an interview here," said Ragini with a smile.

"Sorry, ma'am, but you are an hour late, and our boss doesn't like people who are late," said the receptionist.

"I understand your point, but there was an emergency; that's why I came late. If nothing like that had happened, I would have reached here on time," said Ragini.

"But ma'am, our sir won't be conducting your interview now. We are really sorry," the receptionist said.

Ragini was leaving from there sadly when a person in a wheelchair entered, he was about in mid 40s and all employees wished him.

"Excuse me," he said while looking at Ragini.

"Yes, sir," Ragini said with a disappointed look.

"You are hired," said the person with a smile.

"But, sir, I was late for the interview, and the receptionist said you wouldn't be conducting it," said Ragini with a shocked expression.

"Actually, that is true, but I saw you on the road when you were helping that little girl and her father. A kind person shouldn't be disappointed like this," said the person with a smile.

"Thank you so much," Ragini thanked him. She was very happy with it.

"You are Sir's personal assistant, ma'am, and make sure not to be late from tomorrow because Sir doesn't like people who are late," said the receptionist with a smile.

"I will not," Ragini said, looking at the receptionist. Then she looked at the man and said, "It will be nice working with you, Sir."

"No, no, you don't need to work for me but for my son. He handles this company. I come here for regular checking. By the way, what's your name?"

"Sir, my name is Ragini. And you are?" she questioned him with a smile.

"I am Vikram Malhotra, and it was nice meeting you," he said with a bright smile.

"Thank you, Sir," Ragini said back with a smile.

It was almost 3, but Ragini didn't return home.

"See, I told this girl not to go for the interview. Now it's already three, and there is no whereabouts of her," said Shekhar angrily.

"Don't worry, Papa. Ragini must be coming home. I know she will be back soon," said Swara, assuring him.

"Why do you always take Ragini's side, Swara? She is not always right," said Sharmishtha.

"But, Maa, she is my sister, and it's my duty to be with her in every situation," said Swara.

Just after a couple of minutes, Ragini entered.

"Oh, madam, you got time to come back home. Also, we are so blessed," said Shekhar sarcastically.

"Is that so? I was thinking to come late, but because of you, I came early, and it's not 5 yet," said Ragini with a smile, making Shekhar look at her angrily.

Ragini went to her room and started getting ready. She was least interested in all this, but because of the family, she was quiet and was not saying anything. Tears started to drop from her eyes, but she covered it.

The Maheshwari family was sitting outside, and Swara was with Ragini as they both came downstairs and looked at the family. Laksh and Swara looked at each other, and Swara was shocked to find Laksh standing in front of her.
