when you left
i disappeared into places
reminiscing
all the good days we spent
as i walked by the crosswalks
i dreamt of you
holding my hands, waiting
waiting for reunion
of you and iwhen you left
everything my eyes could
ever capture
reminded me of you
a stranger's passing smile,
a couple dancing in rain
immersed in love
while i drowned over and over
suffocated on memories
that never fadeswhen you left
your scent lingered all over
the areas your hands could touch
marking me yours;i cried
as the clouds scream of
not giving up yetwhen i do
when you left
i am shattered into pieces
falling like winter snow
burning into a crescendoing
infernowhen you left
i let go of the reality
that ties me
from you.
