For a good minute, Touya just kept staring at your dead body.

His eyes were blown wide, the deep blue swirling with complete and utter shock at what he was currently seeing. One minute, you were right in front of him, and the next...

Blood splattered all over the pavement, as more and more of it oozed out of the hole in your temple. Your eyes were half-lidded, showing that you never even got the chance to close your eyes.

It was over before you even knew it.

Something about that... sparked a harsh tug in Touya's chest.

The boy continued to stare ahead, his feet stuck frozen to the ground but somehow, he managed to pick his foot up and set it in front, starting to make his way towards you.

"[N-Name]...?" His voice came out cracked and hollow, like a broken recorder playing an old audio.

One more step forward.

And another one.

Followed by another.

Slowly, your brother stood right in front of your lifeless body just sprawled on the ground, his eyes wide in horror. He was still so surprised that he didn't even have the time to feel the tears pooling in his eyes as he crouched down to your level.

"H-Hey, get up... This... This isn't funny–" He choked out, his hand rested on your shoulder, shaking your body continuously as if that would wake you up.

Atsuhiro, who was watching with horror, snapped out of his shock and immediately rushed to Touya when he felt a presence.

A dangerous presence.

"T-Touya, we need to run–!" The magician was pushed to the ground by Touya as soon as he tried to talk to him. Instead, he watched as your brother seemed to almost be in a trance as he shook your lifeless body.

"[Name], wake up... Wake up, come on...! I said this isn't funny, I don't like jokes like this–!" His tone was increasingly get more and more aggressive. Atsuhiro noted that the air around you all was starting to burn, as if the temperature was rising at a dangerous rate.

But no matter how much Touya begged or screamed, your body remained lifeless.

"[Name], get up right now! I-I won't let you leave me...! You-You can't leave me, I won't let you!!" Atsuhiro could only watch as the child in front of him slowly lost his sanity over his dead sister.

"YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO LEAVE ME, [NAME]!"

And then, the brunette felt it...

The rumbling on the ground... the footsteps of a person, someone far stronger than him.

The area that was filled with nothing but Touya's psychotics screams and Atsuhiro's haggard breathing was suddenly filled with a loud cackle, immediately silencing the screaming teen.

"DAMN! GOT THAT BITCH GOOD, DIDN'T I?!"

A loud laugh rumbled through the chest of the person proudly standing in front of the two.

The person revealed to be none other than Rappa... The same person that once Atsuhiro had sent you on a mission with, only for you to have almost killed him.

The gun used to kill you rested in Rappa's hands and Atsuhiro couldn't but choke in shock, "R-Rappa... You..."

"Don't take it personally, Compress! This bitch was my–"

The man didn't get a chance to finish because his eyes caught sight of the boy crouching near your body.
