9. JAY X HEESEUNG

Heeseung was ill, so ill that he could not even get up. And to his luck, the only member at home with him was Jake, one who didn't know how to take care of ill people. The rest of the members were gone to visit their family since they had a 5 days small break. Ni-ki has gone with Jay since his parents live in Japan.

Jake's parents live in Australia so he decided not to go and Heeseung's family had gone to meet their relatives in USA so he didn't go either. And here he was, filling tissues after tissues with his snot, with a temperature you can make ramen on and voice as croaky and painful as that of a frog.

He also knew the reason behind this adversity. He ate three popsicles yesterday despite Jay telling him not to. He just hoped he gets better before his arrival or else he is gonna hear it from Jay. He can be such a mamma bear at times.

On the other side of the door was Jake who didn't know what to do. He has put cold water cloth on Heeseung's head, gave him medicine and even ordered porridge which was yet to arrive. Yet he couldn't do anything to relieve his pain.

He didn't want to call Jay but he was left with no choice. Heeseung doesn't listen to anyone but Jay at times like this.

"Hi Jay"
"Hey, is everything alright?"
"Ummm, actually Heeseung has gotten seriously ill and I don't know what to do. I have put a cold cloth on his head. And ordered porridge. Since you are an hour away, can you like maybe come and see for a moment?"
"Yeah I am coming . Don't worry. You should have called me earlier. In the meantime, just keep changing the cloth from time to time. And try rubbing his feet. Don't let him eat the porridge. I will come and make him something."
"Okay, bye"

When Jay told his parents and Ni-ki, he insisted to come with him. But Jay didn't let him for the fear of him catching the viral. And instead he dropped him to one Ni-ki's friend's house. Then he went straight to their dorm.

He immediately ran to Heeseung's room and told Jake to remain outside his room for the same reason as Ni-ki. He saw Heeseung shivering from cold. He covered him with blankets and left to make porridge and soup for him.

After some time, he woke Heeseung up to make him eat something.
"Hey wake up, you need to eat something to take your medicine."
"I don't want to."
"But you have to. Now wake up "
"Wait. Jay. What are you doing here?"
"I told you not to eat so much ice cream yesterday but you didn't listen. Now see what happened."
"Don't scold me. I am already ill." He pouted.
"Ok i won't. Now eat this."
"Sorry I ruined your vacation."
"Don't think about it. And anyways I'll take my revenge later."

After feeding him, he made him lie down when suddenly Heeseung winced.
"What happened?"
"My head is paining badly."
"Scoot aside. Let me massage it."

Jay sat on the bed with Heeseung's head on his lap. They both fell asleep eventually in that position. The next morning, Heeseung woke up first. He was feeling a lot better. On noting their position, he realised that Jay must have slept sitting whole night. He softly whispered.

"Thank you Jay. You are amazing. I owe you one"

And to his surprise, he received an answer
"You're welcome. I know. And that you do."
