14. JAY X SUNGHOON [C]

Please don't let it be Jay, not Jay please..

They were recording a promotional video for their new album, Romance Untold. Matches after matches to decide the vampire prince among them. And Sunghoon was pretty confident until now, when they announced a staring contest. He just wished Jay wouldn't be his opponent.

He doesn't find it hard to make eye contact. He would like to believe he is even good at maintaining it while talking to members. But when it comes to Jay, he just starts blushing, not being able to keep it for too long. There is just something about Jay that he has never been able to look into his eyes. They were too deep, too mischievous and they made him forget they were bestfriends at times.

At the moment, Heeseung and Jay were competing with each other. And looks like Sunghoon isn't the only victim of his eyes, even Heeseung couldn't win against them. Heeseung has always been someone who blushes easily but he has never seen him so flustered by just an eye contact. He could swear Jay was an actual vampire.

Looks like luck was on his side, (note the sarcasm), he has to go against Jay now. And what's worse was he was already nervous. His palms were sweaty, heart hammering loudly and a weird throbbing at the back of his neck.

"It is really easy to defeat Sunghoon. He isn't good at keeping eye contact." And Jay just has to say this now.

"What are you talking about? We'll see who wins."

"Sunghoon hyung, even you know you are gonna lose." This little shit

And as expected Sunghoon didn't even last 2 seconds. The second he looked in his eyes, he bursted out laughing.

"Who was saying what now?" Jay was smug. It was easy, really easy for him. None of the members have ever been able to maintain eye contact him. Sunghoon was just worst of them all.

Jungwon defeated Jay. As expected of their leader. The only one who could make this possible. They both were a little crazy afterall.

As they were returning home, with Jay sitting beside Sunghoon, he suddenly shoved his phone in front of his face.

"Look what I found. A compilation of you heating up because of our eye contact." Jay teased him.

Unwillingly he watched the video and like Jay said, he looked like a newly wed blushing bride beside him in each of the clips. And he was sure he was looking the same right now.

"These are just over exaggerated Jay-ah. You know better than to trust these videos edited by fans."

"Yeah? If that's the case, how would you justify your loss today? Even Heeseung lasted longer than you."

"Your face makes me laugh. It's you fault you look so funny. We need to work on your face." Pheww, dodged a bullet there. It's not like he could tell Jay his eyes make his heart flutter.

"You don't look any better, you caterpillar"

"You are just jealous of my eyebrows, you old man"

"Yeah like I would want to spend half an hour everyday on just my eyebrows"

"I don't take that much time" he pursed his lips.

"And he is sulking"

"Shut up"
Jay just did a sealing lips motion and raised his hands in surrender.

They reached home and Sunghoon was still sulking now. Jay just shook his head.
"You know you are handsome Hoonie. Stop being pouty."

Don't compliment me you doofus. I am already having a hard time after you showed me that video.

"It wouldn't hurt you to admit it sometimes though"

"I just did, you idiot"

"You are being rude again"

"Should I not even speak now"

"Speak politely then"

Jay just left him there. He had no energy to deal with him right now.

While for Sunghoon, it was the only way he could talk to Jay without looking like a highschool girl meeting her crush for the first time.

"Sunghoon hyun, you are really red right now. You should be glad Jay hyung has left to his room." Ni-ki again...ughhhh
