A date? (Taylor's view)

Ty and I returned home and ate breakfast with our mom. Around 10 a.m., Logan texted me if I wanted to join him in the arcade. I asked Tyler if he was fine with it. Going to the arcade means I am missing Tyler training. He at first wasn't a fan of the idea, but he also wanted me to do something else than only being there for him. So he told me I should go. I did put on a basic shirt and some jeans. My brother wore a matching outfit. I love that he still matches me. Not many twins do that when they are teens, especially different gender.

I went to the arcade, and shockingly, I didn't see Logan. The only person I saw standing in front of the arcade was a blonde boy. He was dressed a bit too formal for an arcade. Then my phone vibrated, and I got a message. "Enjoy your date." A DATE?! With whom? And then I heard a voice I heard so many times. Aiden, it was Aiden. He now was standing in front of me. I would have never guessed it was him. He replaced his usual outfit with a formal one. It still had small accents of smileys that were always on his stuff. He looked very attractive. In his hands, he was holding Daisys in his left hand. How did he know they were my favorite, "I got you some flowers, Tyler once mentioned that you liked them." I felt the blood go through my face, and I took the flowers, "Thank you, Aiden. This is very thoughtful of you." He smiled at me. It was not the same as his usual smile. This smile was soft and gentle, full of love if you would say so.

I love this smile. We entered the arcade, and it was so different to the other times. It was only us. We played some games together and laughed a lot. He seemed so happy, it made me happy to see him this way. One thing I still didn't understand was why this all happened. Logan wrote it was a date, and it felt like one. Aiden and I are just friends, aren't we? Friends don't usually go on dates. I never went on a real date before, so I may also just misinterpret something in this. We also could just be two friends going together to the arcade. But Logan's message, he isn't the type of guy to mess with that.

Aiden suddenly grabbed my hand and dragged me away. We went into a more private space of the arcade. What was that guy planning. I looked into his eyes. He was wearing his red contacts, and he had his usual smile back. Wasn't he happy anymore. This smile always gave me the feeling he was hiding something. He started to speak, "Taylor, I think I really like you. I am not sure what to do. You are the thing stuck on my mind. It drives me crazy and I wanted to ask." I didn't let him finish. My head was playing crazy and I was so nervous. I just kissed him. I expected him to be shocked or to push me back, but he kissed me back. What meant that are we now a couple? How do I explain any of that to Tyler. Then my phone vibrated again. I took my phone and the message shocked me. I felt like throwing up, like crying. My emotions went from happy to the worst day of my life. How could that happen? Aiden noticed my fear.
