The New Boy in Town

Jacob's POV:

 I don't want to admit it but I'm very happy that Harry and the rest of his family came to Forks when they did. I feel if he hadn't come here then my life and all of the blood suckers lives would of turned out completely different. For starters I know that Bella Swan would still think that we were friends and most likely she would be the reason for me and my pack to be against the vampires more than we were. I feel as if she would make it her mission to bring all of us more problems just like how she was when we were kids. Bella would go off and play with some of the other kids in the pack only to come back hurt and say they were the reason. We all know that playing rough with an outsider of the pack is a no go especially if it is a girl. Not that girls aren't strong or anything we just don't know our own strength at that age or how to control it. Most of the kids had to move not to long after that when they finally told their parents what really happened. Bella went and told her father Charlie all of these lies about how the kids were bulling her and that I was the only one to stop them. If Charlie wasn't really good friends with my dad then she would of made her father angry with my dad. Charlie knows that my dad doesn't really leave the house since he is chair bound so he knew dad couldn't do anything. Some of the parents that didn't move right after told Charlie what really happened but since Bella acts sweet and innocent while in front of him he didn't believe and of them. Those who did tell him were practically watch by everyone in town to the point that they didn't feel safe leaving their homes. In the end they ended up leaving and moved somewhere very far I still haven't heard from them. At that point my dad told everyone that still remained of the pack to stop going into town and stay here in and around La Push. That is how we lived and when Bella would come around on the summers dad took me to meet with her and Charlie. Until Sirius Black sent that letter with a snow white owl to dad. Me and the rest of the pack find out that there is new people in town and at first we all thought that we needed to keep an eye out for them. Dad told us that there is one or two of them that are related to me as a distant cousins. With how dad was talking about them I had the impression that he has met one of them before or at the very least talked with him. When I finally met the man he wasn't alone like the rest of us thought he would be. He brought a man that smelled a little bit like one of our kind but somehow different. At the time I thought it would of been smart to meet with him in the house but I'm thankful for my dad to suggest for it to happen outside so everyone could hear. Not that I think they would ever hurt us but none of us knew them or what they wanted. A few hours later we're finding out about a whole new world out there that accept us for who we are and knows about us. Not only that but there are different type of wolves like the guy that Sirius brought with him he is known as a Werewolf that only changes during a full moon. Plus Sirius can change into a big dog though he's not nearly as big as us when we transform into our wolf form. Though I think it is a little unfair that he gets to keep his clothes through his transformation while we rip out of ours. The weeks that followed were fun and informative since we all got to learn about this new and exciting world out there. We all also got to meet the rest of the people that were brought and we all would do anything to keep my younger cousin safe. The day that I took Bella to the beach I was actually wanting to hang out with Harry since I didn't really know a lot about him at the time. When I told her that I had something else planned to do she just dragged me to her truck that I fixed up for her. I didn't even get to argue with her since dad told me not to we all knew nothing good would come from it. 

Another reason that Harry has helped us just being here is we don't have to pretend that we hate the Cullen's when we all enjoy their company though we will never admit that to them. Before Harry and the rest of them came to Forks we all didn't know that much about each other but now that we all have to get along we've learned more about them. Just last week Paul was saying how happy he was that we don't really have to worry too much about the Cullen's being on our property anymore. I know how he feels like they will be on our property when Harry is but there not a threat to us anymore. We still patrol the area to keep out any blood suckers that aren't the Cullen's. We mainly worry about it for Harry and his families sake now with the addition Hermione. Not just me and the pack we will all run into one of the Cullen's near the outskirts of town far from their home. None of us want anymore Nomads or surprises to pop up on us like last time. Plus a few of the Cullen's help us train a little bit more so we know what to do if we see a rough blood sucker. Plus their strategist gives the younger wolves an obstacle course to go through to better themselves. I'm extremely happy that this is what happened to all of us here I know there could of been some things to turn out better but with this outcome we have now I wouldn't change it for anything.
