Note: I don't own Harry Potter or Twilight. The characters wont act the same as in the movies and in the end of the day this is just a Fan-Fiction and it's written just for fun.
Harry's POV:
I've been helping out at Sev's potion shop that he opened in a wizarding alley near our home. He always hated to be around children or anyone that doesn't find the art in potions that he does. Plus he never knew how to teach but Dumbles forced him teach at Hogwarts so he could keep him close. Dumbles did that so he could put him into a contract where he can't leave without his say so but there was one flaw with it he has to make sure that they renew it every year. The contract that he made was to fly under the Ministry's radar with illegal use of black magic. Dumbles knew that Sev loved my mother and used that against him to get him to take an oath to protect me. With the oath and the contract in play he got Sev to continue teaching until I either die or graduate. Though his dream has always been to opening up a potions shop to sale potions that he made. He thought that he would have more time to create new potions but with being a teacher plus whatever else Dumbles wanted him to do he barley had anytime to himself. Dumbles always had him make all of the potions for the hospital wing instead of ordering them from a potion shop. There was always so many potion shops that were very eager to have Dumbles purchase their potions to use in Hog warts. Then again looking back at it now they could of been Death Eaters wanting a chance to poison me. Sev told me that Dumbles never payed him for his services of potion making or supplied money for the ingredients that were needed. The only things that he was payed for was teaching and still that wasn't that much. He had thought about working in the muggle world before he ultimately opened his shop but he couldn't think of a job that he would find the most relaxing that didn't have something to do with potions. I know that he was miserable teaching at Hogwarts and I was probably one of the major reasons for him. He constantly had to get me out of life threatening situations while he made it look like he hates my guts to the rest of the school. He probably didn't get that much sleep while he was doing everything else that Dumbles had him do. Since he opened up his shop he has been able to get some more sleep and he also looks so much happier than in Hogwarts. I've seen him smile a couple of times while at the shop not to mention he is less rude to the customers especially if they ask stupid questions.
He even made a rule for me in his shop that I'm never allowed anywhere near the cauldrons. It doesn't matter if there is a potion in it or not. The only way I would be allowed would be if Sev was in the room with me. The rule is up just to make sure I don't get hurt since in school most of my potions blew up on me. Even though it wasn't always my fault with the Slytherins throwing things into my cauldron or Ronald messing with our work when I wasn't looking. Sev knows that it wasn't my fault but he would rather be safe rather than have something happen. Though the last time he allowed me into his lab back at the house I wasn't paying attention and the potion bubbled over the cauldron and almost blew up if Sev hadn't put an extra spell to stop explosions from happening. He knew that when Gred and Forge gets back home from school they will likely be using the lab as well so he didn't want to risk one of there experiments blowing up the house. He came rushing back into the room since he had left me to go and grab something from his room. He checked on the potions to see if there was any that could be salvaged before he came over to me. He knew that I was far enough away from the cauldron when it was about to explode so he knew I wasn't in the splash zone. That doesn't stop him from checking over me to make certain that I was okay. He pulled me into a hug telling me that night that I was never allowed back in that room with out him being there to supervise. Now he only lets me cut the ingredients when I come over to help or run the front counter. He trusts me cutting the ingredients since I have years cooking with the Dursley's. He has also seen the professional styled cuts that I do so he knows that they will be perfect for the potions that he will be making. Plus the front counter is an easy place to manage that doesn't take a genius to figure out what to do. I also love to interact with other people that don't make it there mission to be near me. Most of the customers know who I am but don't make a fuss about it others either don't know or just don't care. The people around here just grab what they need or want then leave after they pay for it. So far it's better here in the wizarding world than in Britain.
