I just need to collect my high-school diploma as I didn't graduate with my year
I got the babies stroller out the trunk while Kaelem got Salaei and buckled her in
I got my small bag while Kaelem pushed the stroller and his airpods in
The halls were kinda busy but I rummaged through my out purse taking my ID out
All the eyes were focused on us and people whispering but who gives a fuck in this bitch
I knocked on the principals door
" Come in "

" I hate this place, man took so long to talk I think he purposely kept us in there till lunch " Kaelem mumbled while I had Salaei in my arm rubbing her back
Pooks woke up while we were in there getting all fussy
Once we made it to the car, Kaelem buckled in Salaei in her seat
" You want some food or you going to cook?"
" I feel like cooking " I said
" Alright, I'm tired so let's go"

Once I got home I made dinner which was fried chicken,rice and peas, baked macaroni and some vegetables
I portioned the food on the plate making sure to add gravy
" Kaelem come eat"
He came into the kitchen holding Salaei and I gave him his plate and took 2 small boxes of orange juice out
" Lemme feed her " I said taking her
I pulled my strap from my dress and she latched on to my breast
While she ate, I ate my dinner
Once we finished eating Kaelem washed the dishes and I placed Salaei to bed
Being a mother was draining especially being a first time one not knowing what to expect or what to do cause it was all a learning process
But for my little girl I was willing to learn anything
