"EREN?" Connie audibly gasped out loud. He couldn't believe that Eren was the one who was assigned in tutoring you. What a coincidence that you were just talking about this last night.

"What?! It's Eren?" You said as you snatched the paper out of his hand and looked at it once more like it was going to change anything.

"I just won in life.." Connie said as he dropped onto his knees.

"What are you doing?!" You said as you looked at him in disbelief. You rarely knew any of Connie's friends. You often thought they were too intimidating. Curiosity grew over you on why Connie always had friends who you never liked. You probably won't even like this one.

"Eren is crazy smart! He's like a full on nerd. I think you just won the lottery in knowledge." He said as he got up from his knees and walked alongside with you to the café.

"Great. A nerd. I can't wait to hear about the political and economic state of the world." You sarcastically replied while opening up the café's door.

"C'mon, he's not even bad. I think you guys will get along." He said as he began to walk over the cashier register.

"May I please do two iced matcha lattes?" Connie ordered to the cashier, in which the cashier nodded and took his money and gave him back his change.

"It'll be ready in about 5 minutes." Floch said as he left the cashier to make the caffeinated drinks for the two of you.

You sat down by the nearby table, waiting for your order to be called. "Thanks, Connie. I got you back when I actually have money." You said as you placed your shoulder on him.

"Nahh, It's fine. I'm basically rich now." Connie said as he stood by your side.

Curiosity got the best of you as you questioned how did he even get the money. Not to be that kind of person but, Connie rarely had money. He's miraculously on a full-ride scholarship, and he never goes out since he felt bad for making people pay for him all the time. You barely even had a dinner date with him neither. "Soo, wanna tell me where you got the money?"

"Oh, um.. I found it in my glove box!"

"You don't even have a car."

"You stupid! My mom's glove box. She said I could have it. And guess what, It's $500! Connie says while placing his hand on my shoulder.

"Oh, okay.." You said trying to hold back from confronting him about his terrible lie, but you didn't say anything about it. You're not always right.

"Order for....uh..Hitch?"

"Oh, yeah! That's me. Thanks." Connie said while bringing two orders of matcha in his hands and giving you one.

You looked at Connie with a questioning glance, a light smirk applied onto your face as you stabbed your straw through your matcha. "Hitch?" You questioned as you took a sip.

"Yeah, she's a girl I know." Connie said as he took a sip of his matcha. "She was my firs-"

"Okay, I didn't even need to know all of that information." You said while you made a disgusting face.

"C'mon! Let me speak my mind." Connie said as he sits down across from you, pulling out his phone to show you a picture of her.

"This is her-" Before Connie could say anything, the cashier whom he was previously chatting with, came up to the two of you.

"Hey, didn't you place an order before with extra matcha?" The man asked Connie, pointing at his drink.

"Uh, not right now. I'll pick it up later." Connie glared at the man with piercing eyes, like something was wrong.
