BEFORE US

The previous night was a blur of chaos erupting. You tried recalling the events that took place, but you were so exhausted both mentally and physically, all you could think of was small bits. You thought of Connie taking you out to eat, your terrible first encounter with Eren which decided to go completely downhill fast. Regret and guilt washed over you as you got up from your bed. Apologizing with the first thing you wanted to do for the day, but you unfortunately had to wait.

You unlocked your bedroom door, and made your way into Sasha's bedroom which had been opened by a crack already. You pushed the door open, and saw Sasha sitting on her phone, with a plastic container filled with watermelon.

"Oh hey! Look who woke up late!" Sasha teased you as you woke up pretty damn late than you usually do. "When did you get home?" Sasha said as she got up and greeted you.

"I got here last night, actually. It was pretty late and I was so exhausted so I forgot to text you I was home." You tried to explain the reasonings for your sudden disappearance last night.

"You look tired, and completely drained." Sasha almost immediately noticed as she saw eye-bags and dark circles appearing from below your eyes. "Did Connie do anything? If so, I'd kill hi-"

"He didn't do anything! It was me." You confessed as you sat on the corner of Sasha's bed. You sighed deeply before explaining what happened. "So, I met my tutor for the first time yesterday and, let's just say, I have some making up to do." You said as you gazed upon Sasha.

"Jeez, what did you do?" Sasha said as she sat down beside you, holding your hand with hers.

"I was making fun of Professor Levi, and I guess the guy who was supposed to be tutoring me had special connections with him. It was his stepfather." You declared as you looked down, not facing Sasha due to how humiliating it was to utter out those words.

"Okay? Does he need a pacifier or something? Everyone talks shit about Professor Levi. That man should be in his wheelchair by now." Sasha said as she tried her best to back you up on it.

You chuckled softly as you heard Sasha's stubborn words. "Yeah, well. It's still a rude thing to say about someone's family. Plus, I see him today! I have to apologize or else things would be so awkward between the two of us." You said as you tried to convince Sasha that this was the right thing to do.

Sasha longingly gazed at you as she saw how worried and sick you were because of this small mistake. "You have a good heart, Y/N. I wouldn't even try to apologize to him. He can honestly go hear it again for all I care for." Sasha said as she plopped a watermelon piece in her mouth.

"But, you should know." Sasha said as she mumbled with the piece of watermelon in her mouth. "If your tutor tries to not accept your apology, he can shove a stick up his ass. I know you obviously didn't mean whatever you said about Professor Levi, but sometimes people need to hear the truth, regardless of whether it's harsh or not." Sasha said as she grinned at you.

You smiled at Sasha and you held onto her hand more tighter this time. "Thank you, Sasha. I'm glad I can always have a friend who can give advice without making me feel like a total asshole." You said as you tried to lighten up the mood. "Even though, what I did was pretty bitch behavior." You said as you tried to laugh it off.

"It's okay. We all make mistakes!" Sasha said as she pulls you in for a quick hug. "Now, go talk it out!" Sasha said as she let go of your grasp.

You chuckled softly as you exited Sasha's bedroom, and gently closing the door behind you. You lingered by a door for a moment before you took a deep breath in, and out. Preparing yourself for the long day you had ahead. Luckily, you had no classes scheduled for today, which saved you some energy that you'll be needing.
