A somewhat bored expression graces behind the young man whom seemed to be a student at Paradis University. He was behind the cashier's booth as you decided to take in some of his features. You noticed that his hair was pulled back into a messy man-bun, leaving a few streaks of his baby hairs flowing down his forehead. His sharp, emerald green eyes met Connie's gaze for a second, almost captivating you.

"Welcome to Paradis Coffee, How may I help you?" The man said in a monotone voice.

"Yoo, Eren!" Connie said cheerfully as he greeted the cashier by dapping him up.

Connie's words echoed through your mind as you let out a small gasp, choking slightly onto your own saliva. "Uhm, Eren?" Your voice trembling as you tried to maintain your composure.

A puzzled look appeared on his face as he began to look you up and down, trying to recall who you even were.

"Who are you?" He directed questioned you as he pointed his index finger towards you.

"Oh, Eren, this is Y/N. Y/N, this is Eren!" Connie said as he tried to lighten up the awkwardness between the two of you.

Eren's focus shifted back towards Connie, his eyes not lingering on you as he simply didn't seem to care. "Uh, ok." Eren responded as he completely disregarded you.

"Um, Eren? Don't you know YOU are tutoring her?" Connie said as he was left in question. Eren nonchalantly shrugged at the topic of him tutoring you.

Eren placed a glance at your direction, showing no sign of emotions behind those eyes. "Not really, I thought I'd be tutoring a boy instead of some..girl."

You blinked multiple times to recall what he just said. "I'm sorry? What was that supposed to mean?" You said as your eyebrows began to flare.

"What? I can't be surprised that I'm tutoring a girl? It's not like it's common." Eren said as he scoffed and turned his gaze towards Connie.

You were lost in your thoughts. A mixture of discomfort and annoyance grew onto you. It turned out that the rude person over the phone was no other than the guy who happens to work at your favorite coffee shop that you would occasionally go before and after classes. Now, you have to be more careful to not run into your tutor.

"Can I order now?" Connie said as he impatiently waited by the ordering station.

Eren rolled his eyes as he began touching the kiosk that was in front of him. "Fine."

"Can I get two ham and cheese croissants, two iced matcha lattes, one chocolate muffin with chocolate chips, and that's it." Connie said as he began taking out his card from his wallet.

Eren began aggressively tapping onto the kiosk to place an order for Connie, and to ring him up with his total amount due. "That would be $24.13." Eren said as his voice sounded like he didn't want to even be there anymore.

"Hook me up with that employee discount, would you?" Connie said as he playfully pouted his lips at Eren, whom looked completely disgusted at Connie's childish behavior.

"No." Eren said as he stood completely still, maintaining eye contact with Connie. "Cash or card?" He questioned.

"Cardd-uhh.." Connie said in a disappointed tone after he was rejected by Eren for not giving him an employee discount. Connie inserted the card into the paying machine, and took it out as he heard the approved sound.
