Continuing to ignore him, you entered the lobby and pressed into the elevator button waiting for it to collide open. Eren followed closely behind, you could feel the smirk on his face from behind you as he leaned against a wall that separated the elevator from it, his eyes fixated on you, not saying a word. The elevators opened up wide and revealed a familiar face, Jean.

"Jean?"

Eren's expression immediately dropped as he saw your surprised and horrified face when you called out that name. Eren stood completely still as to where he was standing, and waited for whatever happened next. You looked over to Jean who stood smiling with his hands inside his pockets, darting his eyes straight at you.

"Long time no see, Y/N." Jean said as he stood in front of the elevator, completely still as if he wasn't going to move until you made small talk with him. You flickered your eyes over to Eren who was examining every single detail about what the two of you were talking about, body language and speech. "Is there someone there, or?" Jean said as he pointed to the direction of where Eren was standing, panicked by his response, you drew closer to Jean in efforts to distract him.

"What? No! There was just a roach on the wall." You said as you laid your hands onto his shoulder, causing Jean to stumble a bit backwards into the elevator. "Well, If you don't mind, I want to see it." Jean said as he removed your hands away from his shoulder, walking to where Eren was. You sighed sharply as you walked over to the scene.

Vanished. Eren, who has previously been leaning against the wall, had mysteriously disappeared from thin air. Not to mention, there was indeed a roach that had been crawling around on the wall as-well. Your jaw slightly dropped as you were left in shock to Eren's smart move. Jean twisted his body around in denial as he walked closer to you. "This isn't over, you know." He said menacingly as he walked over to the exit, leaving the premises of the building.

You watched as he left the building, turning the corner gave you a clear indication that it was clear to leave. Smiling, you pressed the elevator button waiting for it to open up.

Ding!

Eren, leaning towards the railings of the elevator with a smug expression laid on his face as the unspoken plan between you two worked. You chuckled a bit before stepping inside, clicking the button to your floor.

"Well, that went better than expected." He remarked as his voice tingled with relief. You chuckled under breath as you turned to face him. "I must admit, you work in extremely mysterious ways," You said as you leaned your back to the elevator door across from him. Eren smiled as the elevator doors opened up, making room for you to leave and make your way to your dorm room.

"So, what hacks are you going to do next?" You playfully asked Eren as you twisted your head around, trying to make eye contact with him. Your heart slightly dropped as you noticed Eren's presence was no longer near you, like he completely vanished away from your sight. "Very funny, Eren. You can come out now." You said as you roamed around the hallways in search for him, but there was no sight of that man anywhere. A faint sense of worry started to creep into my mind as I grew closer to my dorm room, assuming he was probably in there playing his silly little tricks.

Unlocking your dorm room and locking it, you rushed around the area in search of Eren, who was not in fact in your room. You checked bathrooms, bedroom, living room, kitchen, and even closets that you barely used. There was no sight of him. With a heavy sigh, you came to a conclusion that this was just another one of Eren's mysterious disappearances. Assuming Sasha wasn't home due to her location was set at the practice field of the university, you decided it would be the most appropriate time to go to sleep.

Jumping into your bed without hesitation, you snuggled under your covers as your eyes began to felt heavy, causing them to completely shut down.
