I stepped out of the portal and into a massacre. The Astro forces were stronger in many ways, often wiping out entire groups before rescue could arrive.

Fortunately for this group, I had arrived. I was ready to make some Astro Toilets pay for what they did.

Some of the Astros noticed me immediately. Some Interceptor Toilets tried to do a flyby attack—only to get caught in a cloud of my nanobots. The machines latched on, eating away at their flesh instantly. The toilets screamed as they crashed, their bodies deteriorating with every second.

I kept walking forward, ignoring the wreckage. An Astro Carrier locked onto me, firing down with heavy plasma blasts. My energy shields absorbed the attacks effortlessly. I pulled out my axe, deciding the biggest threat needed to go first.

Then—an unexpected development. A door-shaped portal opened next to the Astro Carrier’s head. Some of my children flew toward the enemy ship, swarming it. I heard the Astro Carrier’s panicked cries.

If I had a face, I’d be smirking. But that’s when laser fire erupted from the ship. Carries having defenses made sense—but they were probably never designed for enemies getting on them.

"Die, scum!" A Destructor Astro. Its presence forced my attention toward it. It opened fire—a relentless stream of lasers cutting through the air. I launched into flight, twisting through the barrage, dodging each blast as I closed the distance.

I brought down my axe—only for the Destructor to dodge at the last second, countering with a core blast that slammed into me, knocking me back slightly. It pressed forward, trying to capitalize on the opening.

But then, blue flames ignited atop a tall structure. The fire burned out, revealing Computer Force Titan. She scanned the battlefield fast, assessing the chaos.

I stopped paying attention to her, focusing on the toilet preparing another core blast. I shifted my axe into a shield, raising it, preparing to charge—only to freeze in bewilderment as Computer Force Titan suddenly leaped onto the Destructor and began blasting directly into its head with her arm cannons.

I stared for a moment longer, trying not to laugh as the Destructor Toilet started screaming curses—both in pain and desperation.

Then—something landed on my back.

I barely had time to react before I heard something charging up—then my screen shattered.

Oh, who the fuck—

The thought barely finished before I grabbed whatever had shot me in the back and threw it off me.

It hit the ground—an Astro Strider. Medium-class.

I stared down at it.

It looked smug. Proud, even—like it had just done something legendary. It had broken my screen, and clearly, it was enjoying itself.

So—I fixed my screen right in front of it.

The Strider’s smug look disappeared. Then it frowned. Then its expression collapsed into horror when I tore off its helmet, jammed my cables into its head, and pumped nanomachines inside it.

Assault protocol initiated.

It screamed. It cried, begged, pleaded for me to stop—but I ignored it. Because it tried to kill me. And because it had killed many others.

The process took less than a minute. Then—it was done.

I stared at the Strider. Its red eyes were now green. It stood there. Silent. Still. It did nothing.

Oh.

Oh shit.

I could take over bodies with my nanomachines.

When the fuck could I do this—

[System Alert]

> Astro Carrier Assimilation: COMPLETE

> Neural Override Status: SUCCESSFUL

> Unit Control Protocols: ENABLED

> System Integration: STABLE

> Awaiting Command...

The hell.

Who the fuck took over—

I look up.

The Astro Carrier is looking down at me.

Its eyes are green.

Suddenly explains why I heard it screaming earlier.
