"You left me." Y/n cried while pushing the older girl away.
"I didn't want to but I had to. I just wanted to protect you." Billie tried to embrace the girl but she shoved her away, still crying.
"Protect me from what Billie? I think whatever it is you could tell me. Stop lying to me... please."
Billie inhaled sharply and grabbed the girls hand which she roughly pulled away.
"I'll tell you when I'm ready I promise. Just please... please trust me Y/n." Billie finally wrapped her arms around the girl and held her tightly as she cried.
"Shhh... Y/n. Mama. Don't cry anymore. It's okay. I'm never leaving again." Billie rocked her while running her hand up and down her back in a calming manner.
Y/n looked at Billie with her wide, glossy eyes and just stared at her until Billie grabbed her face and encapsulated her lips within hers.
"You gotta live up to that promise Billie. You always break them.."
"I swear I'm working on it mama... it's going to take some getting used to but I swear I'm changing for you."
