Touko quietly opened her bedroom door, the soft creak of the hinges blending in with the silence of the night.

The darkened hallway was cast in shadows, the faint glow from the moon seeping in through the windows providing a faint source of light.

She took a step out, her bare feet making no sound against the cool floor. The apartment was quiet, the only sounds being the occasional soft snores coming from Denji's room and the sound of Power shuffling in her bed across the hall.

Touko's eyes landed on Aki's door, the soft glow coming from under the crack making it clear that he was still awake.

She paused for a moment, her hand hovering over the doorknob. She hadn't expected him to still be awake, and it made her wonder what he might be doing.

Touko took a deep breath, her heart beating a little faster than usual. She gently knocked on Aki's door, her knuckles softly tapping against the wood.

The sound echoed softly in the quiet hallway, and she waited for a response, her heart fluttering with anticipation.

There was a brief moment of silence before she heard Aki's voice from inside the room.

"Come in."

His voice was soft and slightly hoarse, as though he had been lost in thought before she knocked.

Touko pushed the door open, the soft light from the lamp in his room greeting her as she stepped in.

Aki was sitting on his bed, his back leaning against the headboard. He looked up as she entered, a curious look in his eyes. He looked a little surprised to see Touko standing in his doorway at this hour, but he quickly regained his composure.

"Everything okay?" he asked, sitting up straight in his bed and swinging his legs over the edge. "It's rare for you to come to me this late unless something's wrong."

Aki's hair was down, the dark locks falling messily over his forehead and framing his handsome face. He was wearing a loose-fitting shirt and a pair of comfortable black pajama pants.

There was something about seeing him like this, so relaxed and unguarded, that made Touko's heart flutter. It was a side of him she didn't get to see often.

Touko's eyes roamed over Aki's relaxed form. The way his hair fell over his forehead, the way his shirt hung loosely over his broad shoulders...it all seemed so intimate.

She couldn't help but feel drawn to him in this moment, the soft light casting a warm glow around them.

Touko smiled softly and nodded her head, "I'm fine. Is it okay if I come in?"

Aki nodded his head in response, gesturing for her to sit down. "Yeah, come in." he said, shifting over slightly to give her more space.

Touko gently shut the door behind her and walked over to sit on the edge of Aki's bed. The mattress was soft and the sheets cool to the touch under her fingertips.

She took a deep breath, feeling the silence of the night enveloping them. The only sounds were the soft sounds of their breathing and the occasional rustling of Aki's blankets.

Aki looked at Touko as she sat next to him on his bed. His heart skipped a beat as he took in her appearance. Her hair was silky, her eyes a little shadowed, and she was clad in a plain oversized t-shirt and shorts. She looked beautiful.

He couldn't help but wonder what had brought her to his room this late at night. It was unusual for her to seek him out like this unless something was bothering her. But as he watched her, he didn't sense any sort of distress. In fact, she seemed oddly calm, almost peaceful. His heart rate quickened as he considered what could be behind her visit.
