The day at college had passed with a mixture of routine and reflection. Y/N found herself distracted, thinking about Minjun’s unexpected return and the tension between him and Jungkook.

Her curiosity about Minjun's new role in Jungkook's world lingered, but for now, she focused on the present.

As the evening drew near, Y/N and Jungkook returned home, settling into their familiar routines.

The tension from the morning encounter was still palpable. Jungkook, feeling the need to address the situation, sat down with a thoughtful expression as they prepared for dinner.

“I need to make sure that Minjun doesn’t become a problem” Jungkook said, his voice serious. “His return could complicate things if he’s not careful.”

Y/N, looking up from her plate, frowned. “Do you really think it will come to that? Minjun is just a friend.”

“It’s not just about him being a friend,” Jungkook replied. “It’s about the potential risks. I need to be sure he’s not a threat to our safety.”

Y/N reached out and took Jungkook’s hand, her gaze softening. “I understand your concern. But remember, Minjun has always been a loyal friend. I don’t think he’d jeopardize anything.”

Jungkook squeezed her hand gently. “I hope you’re right. I just want to make sure everything remains under control.”

Y/N nodded and took a deep breath, deciding to address the subject head-on. “How do you and Minjun know each other, anyway?”

Jungkook’s expression relaxed slightly. “Minjun joined my team a few months ago. He’s been working with us in the underground world. He’s quite skilled and has proven himself to be trustworthy.”

Y/N’s curiosity was piqued. “So, he’s part of your team now? Why didn’t you tell me?”

Jungkook looked at her with a reassuring smile. “I didn’t mention it because it wasn’t relevant at the time. I didn’t want to add to your worries. But now that you’ve met him, I should have explained.”

Y/N sighed, feeling a sense of relief. “Alright, that makes sense. I’m glad to know he’s not a threat.”

The evening continued with a more relaxed atmosphere as they enjoyed their dinner. The conversation shifted to lighter topics, and they both appreciated the comfort of their familiar routine.

They had a quiet dinner together, a time to reconnect and unwind. The earlier conversation about Minjun had eased some of Y/N’s concerns, but Jungkook remained vigilant, determined to ensure that Minjun’s presence didn’t disrupt their lives.

During dinner, Jungkook’s thoughts were occupied with his brother Jihoon, who had been unusually quiet lately.

Jihoon was a vital part of their world, and Jungkook was concerned about him. The younger brother had always been a source of both mischief and insight, and his recent behavior had been out of character.
