Upon hearing this, Rahul’s face lit up with a smile as he gazed at Radha Rani’s divine form. His eyes, filled with tender love, seemed lost in the beauty before him.
After a while, Rahul’s father, feeling that the meeting with Radha Amma must be complete, took his hand to leave. Suddenly, Rahul wrenched his hand away, falling to the feet of the deity and pleading, “Don’t separate me from you, Radha Amma! I cannot live without you!”
His family, distressed by his refusal to leave despite having met Radha Amma, were at their wit's end. As the priest and Rahul’s father approached him, the temple bells began to ring on their own, a storm erupted outside, and darkness enveloped the sky, as if time itself had momentarily stopped.
Unaware of these dramatic changes, Rahul lay weeping at Radha Rani’s feet. Then, he felt a gentle touch on his head and heard a sweet voice, “Lalla!”
Overjoyed and astonished, Rahul looked up to see Radha Amma standing before him. Without hesitation, he embraced her tightly, savoring the long-awaited moment. Radha Rani, moved by his profound love, allowed a single tear to fall upon his forehead. At that moment, Rahul experienced an infinite love and knowledge that sages spend lifetimes seeking, enveloped by pure devotion.
Rahul cried, “Amma! Forgive me… never keep me away from you again!”
Radha Rani replied, “I have always been with you. Does a mother ever get angry with her child?” (She smiled as she spoke.)
Rahul responded, “I couldn’t see you before… but I promise I will never forget you again. I don’t want to be apart from you. I want to do something for you now!”
Radha Rani said, “Not apart, but even closer. Everything that has happened so far was just steps to bring you closer to me. The bond between a devotee and the divine is not just for one lifetime, but spans across many lifetimes. Every lifetime brings the devotee closer until the ultimate realization of the Divine. Fate itself cooperates in this journey. I have always been with you; it’s just that you couldn’t see me. But your extraordinary devotion has compelled me to appear, and finally, your many lifetimes of penance are complete. Do not worry… whenever you call, I will come.”
Rahul asked, “But Amma, is my departure necessary?”
Radha Rani replied, “This world is like my children. Many, entangled in the illusion of Maya, forget me. I don’t ask you to abandon everything and worship me alone. I simply wish that you dedicate a bit of your time and love to me. After all, what more could a mother want from her child? In your divine presence, it will become easier for others to remember love. Just as my home is known as Barsana and Vrindavan, I wish for you to make the entire world my home through your devotion and love, fulfilling the purpose of your life!”
Rahul asked, “But how can I make the entire world your home, Amma?”
Radha Rani answered, “Those who harbor devotion and love in their hearts will be my abode.”
Rahul replied, “Beloved Amma, it is my duty and privilege to follow your every command. I will never disappoint you. Every being in this world carries a part of you. I will serve and guide them with devotion, fulfilling my duty. Just keep your blessings and grace with me always!”
Radha Rani said, “My love and blessings have always been with you and will always remain so. May you be blessed! I want to give you this divine garland from my neck as a gift. Here, take it, my dear!”
Rahul responded, “All I need is your presence… what else could I possibly want!”
Radha Rani said, “A mother’s love is never to be refused… take it, dear!” (She first feigned a stern expression but then softened with a smile.)
Radha Rani lovingly adorned Rahul with the garland, and as soon as he wore it, the storm outside subsided. The people in the temple, who had been frightened by the weather, were unaware of the divine conversation that had taken place. Only Ladli Ji knows why this happened!
Rahul’s father, ignoring the storm’s chaos, approached Rahul and found him unconscious. The priest quickly brought water and sprinkled some drops on Rahul’s face. As soon as the water touched him, Rahul regained consciousness and his fever disappeared completely. Everyone was astonished by this miracle.
Seeing the divine garland around Rahul’s neck, the priest asked, “Where did this extraordinary garland come from?”
With a mysterious smile, Rahul replied, “It is a priceless gift from someone special.”
With that, he turned back towards his family, who were relieved to see their children safe. As they had no more questions, they chose to remain silent. Rahul too agreed to return home quietly, keeping the divine encounter and his conversation with Radha Amma close to his heart.
Expressing his gratitude, Rahul and his family set out for home. As he walked, he turned back and said, “I will come back soon, Amma!” With a smile, he continued on his path to fulfill his life's purpose, blessed by Shri Radha Rani’s grace.
