001: A dream

It was a hot summer in the year of 2017 in Japan.

On the morning of July 4th, a normal women was roaming the streets of Tokyo going to work at her company. Well not her company but her friend's company.

Upon arriving at her workplace she was greeted by the employees working at the front desk.

"Good morning, Kakegumi-San." She greeted with a smile

"Good morning, has Rei arrived?" She questioned

"Not yet." She replied

"Must've fell in to a trap set by the jewel shop again. Anyway thank you. Have a great day." Suzuki quickly said

"You too, ma'm"

Sitting in her office waiting for her friend who is taking way too long is honestly disappointing. Imagine telling someone to come by early in the morning but doesn't showed up.

Dang it, I would've been enjoying my early does of caffeine right now. Suzuki thought

But then something felt strange

Have u ever had Deja Vu?

Well Suki is experiencing it right now. But feeling of similarity was replaced by strangeness.

"Where the hell am I?" She suddenly questioned out loud.

It felt like she just woke up, but she was already awake.

It felt like someone just woke up inside of her

"Why do I feel... nostalgic?" She questioned herself again

Her eyes roamed the room that was getting colder as every second that passes by. The unfamiliar room was filled with books and files. Expensive furniture was seen in her line of sight.

Suki got up and walked around the room trying to figure out what was happening.

"Why does it feel like I'm in a dream?"

She walked up to her desk again and inspect the things on her desk. Nothing out of the ordinary. Just stuff should be on a working desk.

Pen scattered around the surface of the table, important files and paper, a pen holder, a green plant to decorate, and a picture frame?

A picture frame. She picked it up and look at its contents.

Oh, it's just me and Rei.

Wait just me and Rei? When we were in college?

She looked closely at the picture as two pairs of green and blue eyes stared back at her. The two women in the picture were young adults. There was no doubt that the women are Kakegumi Suzuki and Akiyama Rei.

I don't remember taking this photo- her thought was interrupted by a knock followed by a creaking sound made by the door as it opens, revealing a beautiful red head women with black framed glasses.

"Sorry I'm late. I was caught up at the jewel store." She spoke softly

"Uh- HI!" Suki yelled

"Uh good morning." Rei replied, a bit taken it back by her best friend's reaction. "What are u looking at?"

"Uh nothing!" She answered quickly putting the picture back where it belongs

"Are u ok?" Rei asked raising an eyebrow

"Whaaaaat? Why wouldn't I be? Heh.. heh..." She chuckled nervously

Rei not fully convinced by her answer decided to just let it go and get working.

"Whatever u say. Now let's discuss about the project-

"What project?" Suki cuts her off with a confused look
