'Shhh, shhh baby, you have to be quiet', Travis husks into Taylor's ear, the room silent except for the sound of their bodies meeting and Taylor's stifled moans.

'Oh god.. Trav...', is all she can breathe out, eventually opening her eyes to meet his, his pupils blown as he rocks into her, his head dipping to suck at her neck before they both reach their peak at the same time.

'How does it just get better every single time? God', Travis whispers into the expanse of her neck, Taylor still wrapped around his body as they bask in the afterglow, a sleepy, satisfied smile creeping across Taylor's face.

'I know right?', she whispers back, carding her hands through his hair. 'I...'

'Mommy?'

'Oh my God', Taylor mumbles under breath, pulling the bedclothes as high as possible over her and husband before looking over Travis' shoulder to the figure of her five-year-old daughter in the doorway.

'Maddy May, what are you doing up?', she calls out across the room as Travis rolls off the top of her, subtly finding his boxers to pull on under the covers.

'Mads, are you okay baby?', he asks, passing Taylor his t shirt that had been thrown to the floor in their earlier haste, pulling his robe on before walking towards the doorway.

'I feel sicky, daddy', she mumbles, tears escaping before she covers her mouth. Travis recognises the signs, lifts her before she can christen their brand new cream carpet, reaching the bathroom just in time.

'It's okay, baby, let it all out, you're okay', he reassures her as he holds her over the toilet bowl, Taylor joining them minutes later, Travis' shirt and a pair of sweatpants hastily pulled on.

'Oh Maddy sweetie, it's okay', she coos as her daughter looks up, tears still streaming down her face. 'Do you want mommy or daddy to hold you?'

'Momma', comes the hiccuped reply, and Taylor takes Travis' place on the bathroom floor, scraping Madeline's hair back into her hands as they wait for the worst to pass.

Travis stands, grabbing Madeline a glass of water and handing it to Taylor, before grabbing a set of fresh bedclothes from the linen cupboard, knowing they'd have a little bed invader for the evening. He grabs Madeline's favourite blanket from her room, too, returning just in time to meet Taylor carrying her out of the bathroom, the little girl's tears finally subsided.

'How are you doing, Maddy girl?', he asks, bending to her level, her eyes now glassy and eyelids drooping on her mom's shoulder.

'We're going to have some sleep, right Mads?', Taylor whispers, gently placing her in the middle of the freshly made bed, tucking her blanket under chin, just how she likes it.

They climb into bed on either side of her, their hands meeting on top of an-already sleeping Madeline's tummy. 'Kids, huh? They have the best timing', Travis smirks at his wife, the blush immediately creeping up her neck.

'Well at least she didn't interrupt five minutes earlier', she smirks back, Travis having to hold in his laughter for fear of waking Madeline.

Travis chuckles, silently, before leaning over Madeline's head to kiss Taylor's forehead, settling back down onto his pillow with a smile. Magically, they all fall asleep, and Taylor is only woken at 6am - having expected to be up all night with Madeline - to a 5-year-old's foot right in her face.

'What the...?', she mutters under her breath, sitting up and stifling her laughter at the sight of Madeline, stretched right across Travis' chest, her feet diagonally reaching across the bed to Taylor's face. Carefully shifting out from under the covers, she shuffles her slippers on to her feet and pulls a robe over her pyjamas, before leaving the room and padding down the hallway.
