'Hey there. How are my girls doing? Ready to go home?'

Travis peeks his head through the hospital doorway, his heart expanding in size when he's able to take in the view in front of him: Taylor, his wife, sitting propped up by a pillow mountain on the hospital bed, cradling their newborn daughter, feeding her and smiling back at him, eyes twinkling. Yeah, he thinks. He'll never see anything better than this.

'Hey there daddy', Taylor giggles, lifting the baby's little fist where it was resting to wave it at Travis. 'Just finishing an afternoon snack and then we're ready to go home'.

Travis grins back at her, reaching the bedside in two steps to place a gentle kiss to Taylor's forehead, before reaching down to stroke the baby's cheek as she lies nestled against her mother. 'She latch okay after this morning?', he enquires, recalling the struggle Taylor had to get the baby to feed when they'd woken up and before he'd run home to grab the car seat, which resulted in an early morning call for the nurse who had helped get them settled.

'Took a few goes, but we got there in the end', Taylor tells him, smiling up at him before leaning forward, Travis immediately giving her the requested kiss.

'You'll get the hang of it, honey, I'm sure', he reassures her, kissing her once more, before standing and walking over to the other side of the room. 'I'll start packing this stuff away, okay?'

Taylor nods, watching as he gathers together the various baby paraphernalia that had accumulated over the last two days. Diapers, onesies, wipes, pacifiers, were all collected from their spots across the room and into the diaper bag, a black leather backpack Taylor had carefully selected long before the baby was born. When he was finished, the baby's bag and Taylor's placed beside the door, Travis turned back towards his girls, sitting down gently on the side of the bed.

Noticing the baby had unlatched and her curious face was turning towards him, he smiles, reaching out his hands. 'Ready for daddy?', he coos, and Taylor hands her over, along with a burp cloth as Travis places his daughter over his shoulder.

'I'm just going to the bathroom, I'll get changed and then we should be good to go. The doctor just needs to sign us off, can you tell the nurse?', Taylor instructs as she stands, still a little unsteady on her feet, but otherwise feeling good, despite having birthed a rather large Kelce baby just two days prior. 'Sure, baby', Travis replies, offering his free hand to her and walking her to the bathroom door, seeing her safely inside before turning in the other direction towards the nurses station outside Taylor's room.

He smiles broadly as he approaches, noticing the midwife who had helped Taylor during the birth was back on shift. 'Mr Kelce, how are you? How's fatherhood treating you?'

'Susan, I told you to call me Travis, we've been through too much together! It's brilliant, better than I could have ever imagined', he sighs, softly, pressing a kiss to the top of the baby's head.

'Still no name for little Miss?'

'Not yet. Taylor isn't sure on the name we had picked out, and I'm not about to argue with her. She did all the hard work, so she gets to pick'.

'She's a little cutie, that's for sure. Daddy's little girl already, I see'.

Travis smiles back at her, before passing along Taylor's instruction, the nurse telling him Taylor was next on his rounds to sign off for discharge from the hospital. Smiling his thanks at her, he gently bounces the baby in his arms on his way back into the room, cooing down at her as her eyes slowly blinked open.

'Tay', he starts as he opens the door, sighing when he sees his wife bent over her now open suitcase on the floor. 'What are you doing?! Come back up here, please', he insists, offering her his free hand and helping her to her feet, before leading her over to the chair he was occupying earlier.
