THE TORRES AND BROOKS SIBLINGS STOOD IN A ROW IN COBRA KAI.

"Junbi!" Johnny shouted, causing all the students to put their hands at their sides in preparation. "Bow. Fighting positions."

As the entire class raised their fists and adjusted their footing, Johnny began to make his way through the rows to check their stance. Nathalie bit down on her lip to stop herself from laughing when Johnny kicked Eli's leg. She refused to call him Hawk, thinking that it was a dumb nickname.

"Stabilize your base, Hawk. Keep your balance. Full rotation when you strike."

"Yes, Sensei!" Hawk struck the air. "Hai!"

Nathalie fought the urge to roll her eyes as she stared straight ahead. Johnny turned, barely having the chance to move before a boy with blonde hair flinched.

"Did you just flinch, Virgin?" Johnny asked the boy.

Johnny stopped in front of Sebastian and Oliver, examining their stance. He lurched his body forward, trying to get them to flinch. Neither boy moved, but they did hold their breaths. Johnny turned, jumping at another boy.

"Holy shit. We got a room full of flinchers," Johnny said as he continued to walk through the rows.

"Yes, Sensei!"

"That was not a question!" Johnny shouted. "Raise your hand if you've never been punched in the face."

Nathalie glanced around the room, watching to see who put their hand up. Sebastian and Oliver didn't raise their hands. The two boys had punched each other "for fun" on multiple occasions. Nathalie herself was no stranger to a fist to the face. She had received a punch right to the nose after a girl accused her of stealing her boyfriend. Which Nathalie had not done.

The only one who raised their hand out of the four siblings was Flora. She might have punched Yasmine in the face, but she had never been punched before. Before the Halloween dance and joining Cobra Kai, Flora had been strictly against violence at all costs, including getting punched in the face.

"Put your hands down." Johnny made his way back to the front of the room. "All your lives, you've been avoiding fights, so you don't break your nose or lose a tooth. This concussion nonsense."

The siblings exchanged confused glances with each other. Sebastian had received a—in the words of Oliver—totally gnarly—concussion about two years ago when he fell off his skateboard. It would have been so much worse if Marisol hadn't insisted that he wear a helmet.

"So, there's only one solution, and that is before you leave this dojo, each and every one of you is gonna take a punch very hard, to the face," Johnny told the class. "Ms. Robinson, Runt, line 'em up. Unflinch this group."
