NATHALIE WAS NOT A MORNING PERSON.

Pretty much everyone knew that. That was why it had taken the combined effort of Flora, Sebastian, and Oliver to wake her up for Johnny's early morning class at the junkyard. The three of them had to quite literally drag her out of bed, which resulted in several injuries caused by Nathalie kicking them in protest. Nathalie had not even bothered to change her clothes or brush her hair. She simply slipped on her shoes and walked out the door wearing her tattered Iron Maiden shirt and a pair of sweatpants.

Nathalie thought that Johnny had lost his mind before. Now she firmly believed that the man did, in fact, not have a mind to lose. She did not want to spend her Saturday morning training at a junkyard, and she made a point of reminding Flora and their brothers of that.

She made Flora drive, trying to go back to sleep in the car but having no luck with Sebastian and Oliver rambling in the backseat. She complained as they arrived at the junkyard, as they got out of the car, and as Flora had to practically push her over to where the others had already begun to gather.

"Hey, where have you been?" Miguel questioned as the four of them walked up to where he stood with Hawk and Aisha.

Nathalie crossed her arms as she glared at Hawk. The two of them were not on speaking terms, which was completely fine by her. The less he tried to talk to her, the better.

"Nattie isn't a morning person," Flora explained. "We had to drag her out of bed. Literally."

"It's true." Oliver nodded and then held his arm out in front of him. "She bit me."

Miguel, Aisha, and Hawk glanced down at his arm, and sure enough, there were teeth marks on his arm. Miguel turned his head, looking at Nathalie as she yawned.

"Remind me to never wake you up early for any reason," Miguel said, a fearful look on his face.

Nathalie glared at him. Miguel took a step to the side to try and get away from her.

"Dude, she's like five feet tall," Hawk told him, pushing him to the side. "What's she gonna do?"

Nathalie clenched her jaw and stepped over to him. "Are you forgetting that I punched you so hard that one of your teeth nearly came out? You want a repeat, Eli?"

"It's Hawk."

"I didn't ask," Nathalie responded.

"Nathalie Torres, always trying to act so tough," Hawk shot back. "Or don't you remember when I used to constantly be your shoulder to cry on?"

Nathalie's fist clenched at her side. "Yeah, and whose fault is it that you're no longer that person in my life? Huh? Whose fault is it? Because it's certainly not mine!"
