The three of them rode their horses out of the mining town. Sky held her reins. She held her hat with her left hand as her right hand was holding the reins. "How long will we stay?" Sky asked. A lantern was attached to the front of her horse's reins. Dutch shook his head. "I don't know, Sky. For as long as the law ain't on our tails. We should be lucky we're alive for now." Dutch said. He rode his horse. Arthur was behind him on Taima. "I just hope Micah isn't alive. John might be alive, but he ain't got much sense." Arthur muttered. There was a quiet chuckle from him. He despised Micah.

"What's that over there?" Sky asked as she pointed at a light from in the snow. "I don't know." Arthur said. Dutch held his lantern towards the light. "You there? Who's there?" Dutch asked in loud tone. He coughed. You could hardly see the person. "Micah Belle." Dutch spoke. It was indeed, Micah. "I found a ranch not too far from here. It seemed like there was a party." Micah spoke. He chuckled. He nodded his head as a signal for y'all to follow him. After a good few minutes of riding the horses. They were at the ranch. It seemed like a foot of snow everywhere. They hitched their horses. "Micah, get behind that snowed in wagon. Arthur get into the shed. Sky go into the outhouse." Dutch ordered. Sky sighed. She walked towards the outhouse. She hid behind it as she held her Carbine Rifle. Her eyes focused on the door as Dutch walked towards the door of the house. "Shh! Shh! Shut it, Billy." A man spoke in the home. It was silent now. Dutch held his lantern. "Arthur, Sky, there's a body in the wagon." Micah whispered. Arthur shook his head.

"What can we do for you, sir?" The man asked. Sky, Arthur, and Micah noticed a few men surrounding the home. Sky kept her eyes on sight. Her eyes narrowed. "I just wanted to ask if you have any food. Me and my family just need some food. We're just a few miles away from Lake Isabella." Dutch said. He was stalling. Arthur gripped his Cattlemen Revolver. Before anyone could do anything, Micah shot one of the men. The man's body fell to the ground. Sky shoot a few men, so did Arthur. "O'Driscolls? Out here? Well, now I've seen everything." Sky spoke. She walked into the house. Micah was looting the bodies outside. Arthur went into the barn. "Dutch! There's a man here. He's an O'Driscoll." Arthur shouted. Dutch walked into the barn. He interrogated the man with Arthur.

Sky left the house. Sky heard a woman weeping from in the cellar. She opened the cellar door, she looked at the woman. She had blonde hair, blue eyes, and tan like skin. Her hair was messy a bit. She walked slowly towards the weeping woman. Her hands in the air. "Miss, are you alright?" She asked in soft tone. The crying woman looked at Sky. Her face was tear-stained. "They killed my husband. They did unspeakable things to me." The woman whispered. Sky walked towards her. She helped the woman. She quickly grabbed a blanket and wrapped it around the poor woman.

"What's your name, miss?" Sky asked. "Sadie... Sadie Adler... he.... I.... he's my dearest." Sadie, the weeping woman replied. Sky sighed. Sadie's eyes had tears of sadness. Her face was full of desperation to see her husband again. Sky shook her head. She helped walk Sadie out of the cellar. "Dutch, Arthur, Micah. I found this woman. We're taking her back to camp. Sky helped Sadie on her horse. She mounted her horse. "Great, another mouth to feed." Micah said with a mocking tone. He rolled his eyes. "She's here. That's final. Let's go." Dutch said. They rode the horses to the old mining town.

Lenny, a young boy who seemed 19 was on guard duty. He pointed the rifle at the folks who were riding towards the entrance of camp. "I think someone's coming." Lenny spoke. He saw it was Dutch, Micah, Sky, and Arthur. He noticed Sadie on the back of Sky's horse. "Miss Grimshaw, get this woman blankets and food." Dutch spoke. Susan and Lenny helped Sadie of Sky's horse.
