Leo Stone was a blessing for Eva. She had saved her from the dark place that his father put her through. Leaving her and the baby that grew in her stomach for another woman, that's what she had amused herself. Eva only said that because she did not know the reason why he had left her.
When Leo was 3 years of age, started to develop speaking very well and learning from his mother. Eva was like his Sept and told him everything he needed to know.
One day, he had to ask his mother where was his father. Eva did not answer his question to ignored his questions about his father. She quickly offered him some sweets to forget he ever told her.
Then it came up again. She had to lie to her son, even though she did not like it. Eva would do anything for her son. She told him that he was off to war and might not ever return to them. Leo didn't understand and when Eva explained it and tried to understand. After that day, Leo hardly brought him.
Leo grew up with his adorable little boy who wants to become a knight. Very energetic, and curious boy and his imagination. Eva loved everything about her son and wished him to get the best life he deserved.
Before Aegon came into the picture, it had always been him and her for the last 5 years. They had a strong bond and no one could replace that.
"Maybe me and Aegon shouldn't tell him tonight." Eva overthinking about telling her son at the dinner table as she spoke to Ms. Hollie while setting up for the dinner.
"Eva, I know that you are nervous. Leo would start to question you when your stomach starts becoming large." Ms. Hollie told her. Eva knew she was right, her son is a very curious boy.
"I know—but this is all new to him. He always has the center of attention. This will change that." Eva spoke lowly feeling this guilty. Ms. Hollie went over to comfort her.
"This might be hard for you but you must tell him." She said rubbing her back for comfort. Eva nods at Ms. Hollie.
"Now come let us eat. I'll call the boys." Ms. Hollie tells her. She walks over to the door and opens it to see Aegon and Leo playing around with the ball.
"Boys come in dinner is ready." Ms. Hollie announces. Aegon and Leo quickly stopped playing the ball and rushed into Hollie's home almost knocking her down.
Ms. Hollie puts her hand over her chest, scares the living crap out of her. Leo looked at Ms. Hollie who pointed him down and Leo giggled out loud and went over to his mother who was patiently waiting at the dinner table.
Leo sat right next to his mother like he had always done. Aegon wished he could sit right next to his wife but knowing what was going to happen, he had let his son sit next to her. He sat down on the empty seat, once Ms. Hollie closed the door, she sat down next to Aegon.
