In weeks of King Tarik's death, the whole town of Old Town bowed down to Aegon. All the folks wanted him to be King and saw how brave he fought Tarik. He deserves to be the next king. With his dragon protecting the town, all of them would be safe from any danger or attacks from others.
The past 2 weeks all it was changed for the small folks and Aegon and his family. The new king ordered all the Guardsmen to deep cleanse the castle was abandoned, and filled with dust, moles, bugs, and spiderweeds. It was a punishment for the knights that killed an innocent and laughed at it as if it was play.
Men around the town helped out rebuilding any broken parts around the town and also inside the castle. Women helped clean around the town and wanted to keep it clean. Aegon tried to tell the people that they didn't have to do it and the knights got this but they insisted.
Ser Tyron was one of the first knights to bow down to Aegon, and accepted him as his King and his wife, as his Queen. Aegon declared Tyron as The Lord Commander of the Kingsguard and his family protector. Ser Tyron was honored and took his role seriously. Sent out a couple of the knights to where Tarik ruled also and got the other Kingsguard, handmaidens, and Masters.
The guards were sent by Ser Tyron. All of the others packed up when they were told that the Lord Commander was summoning them. The knights chained the people up together with their heavy stuff behind their backs. They didn't have a choice and did not want to be the next victim to be killed.
Once they got a day later of walking non-stop, they thought they would be greeted by King Tarik but no. It was someone different.
"King Tarik is dead. He was killed by this man who is now the future King." Ser Tyron announced to the newcomers that came from a town that Tarik owned.
Aegon was aside from him looking at the folks, they looked horrible as if they hadn't eaten in days, and saw wondered on their cuff that was bound on their wrist.
"You have a choice, this simple. You can choose to stay and accept me as your future king and have that freedom that Tarik did not give you but I can." Aegon told the crowd that we were utterly listening to the words coming out of the sliver-haired man's mouth.
"If not you may go wherever you pleased to go with no trouble caused." He added on.
Small folks did have the choice now. All of them believe Aegon and choose to stay when they saw all the other folks from across the hump bridge and yell that it was safe.
In the days the newcomers stayed in the town, they did not want to leave and felt safe. Knowing that Tarik is dead and having the protection of Aegon's dragon, was a relief to them. The newcomers knights, have been guided to the good side that has been hiding in them. It was the bad side that Tarik gave them.
