Debuting in May of 2018 under the Cube Entertainment. Their imagine of empowerment and self confidence has resonated with many fans across the world. The G stands for girl meaning emphasizing their identity while showing they can transcend beyond it and Idle which highlights their individuality. Their desire is to make music unique to themselves and can have a lasting impact.

Soyeon

The head honcho of the pack. Prior to joining Cube she was a Produce 101 and an Unpretty Rapstar contestant where she was reached the semi finals. Her previous appearances helped establish her reputation as a new heavyweight. She is responsible for writing a majority of the group's music since Latata.

Her rapping skills is her greatest strength influenced by the likes of CL (2ne1) and pH-1/Harry Park (Highlight/B2st) her personal idols and who she frequently praises. She is also is a major 2pm fan which is how she got introduced to Nickthereal and Chinese music overall.

Miyeon

A former YG trainee and formly part of Jay Park's AOMG dance crew. She trained for two years as his backup dancer and almost joined Blackpink before plans fell through. Due to such experience she has exceptional dancing skills. She is also known to have a very powerful voice when performing live. She brings the group's vocals which she owes to her YG past.

She is the group's defato vocalist and her years of vocal training shows. Her enthusiasm during interviews is why she has become a fan favorite on variety shows.

Minnie

Thai by nationality, her casual personality adds a new dynamic to the group. She tends to let Soyeon do most of the decision often lost in her own world. She is close with Shuhua as she is also fluent in Chinese. Her vocal talent doesn't get enough appreciation as she often hums while bored. Much like Yuqi she too is a major fan of Super Junior especially the beloved American maknae: Eric Nam. She even likes imitating his mannerisms. She's very close to other Thai idols like Sorn (CLC), Bambam (Got7) and Lisa (Blackpink) and they have a friend group on Wechat.

Yuqi

The first friend Lexie ever made as a trainee. Yuqi also being Chinese allowed Lexie to get comfortable with her life in Korea. It was thanks to her that Lexie became fluent. Yuqi's Korean skills are so good that she sometimes gets mistaken for being Korean. Her deep husky voice is what stands out a lot even though she has a face of a baby. Optimistic and out going, she loves making conversation with the people she meets.

She has befriended a lot of celebrities during her long career including Ryeowook, her biggest idol. She's also a hardcore fan of NCT's Ozi and EXO's Eric Chou, both Taiwanese artists that she listens regularly. To Lexie, Yuqi is that bubbly girl who lots of energy. It was thanks to her that Lexie was able to fit in.

Shuhua

The maknae of the group who hails from Taiwan. She is the cousin of NCT'S Stefan Chen/Ozi which is how she became a fan favorite in Taiwan. Her openly temperamental behavior has landed her into many conflicts with Soyeon.

Lexie is always the one to meditate between the two. Her sarcasm when she gets mad is the reason it took them a while to become friends. She is pretty close to Soojin who she gets babied a lot.

Soojin

The girl full of class and style. She tends to speak more proper Korean than her peers. She is the "sexy" member of the group, often bringing the group's sensuality. She represents the sexuality of a woman, subtle yet graceful. She is known to be quite motherly towards the girls especially to Shuhua.
