Dear Autumn,
Why must you fall and leave me so soon?
Why must you vanish and hide away your majesty?
Why must you veil yourself for your sister's sake? She is indeed divine,
Magnificent in her cold grace.
She is indeed splendid,
Beloved by her icy gaze.
She is indeed awaited,
For her presence brings relief from the fires of Summer. However, it is you who my affections chase.
You, who let the world pass you by.
You, whose tender chill embraces me.
You, whose temperament calms me.I am distraught by your fall.
I am distressed by your absence.
I am dumbstruck by your beauty.Autumn, may you forever befall me.
