chapter 6

Hogwarts
Transfiguration classroom
September fourth 1975

After taking a quick shower to cleanse my dirty, sweaty skin, i joined the rest of the girls to go to transfiguration. I tool this class with Lily, Marlene and Mary. We shared the class with the ravenclaws and i saw Barty Crouch and Pandora Rosier sitting in the far left corner, conversing with eachother.

Wich leads us to right now.

There's some new student kid but i don't even know his name. He introduced himself briefly but i was rather busy to say the least. Mary had just figured out some slytherin was having a threesome with two brothers and it took up my entire lessons.
Well right up until Marlene got caught.

She was about to send a note untill Minnie, aka mcgonagal, caught it and gave her a detection. God bless Marlene, she took the blame for all of us and is now stuck in detection before the year had even started. Not her fault we wanted to know who the brother were. They were Will and Thomas Moore, if you were wondering.

This unfortunately means i have to sit through the entire lessons from then on with nothing to do exept listen to some loser newbie tell me that he likes lego's or something. If you've even had to do that you know it's a pain in the arse.

The rest of the lessons goes on without any detention-giving and with the new bloke explaining some muggle game i have bever heard of. He doesn't seem like too bad of a guy to me. But for Salazars sake please tie an end to it. I think he's been rambling on for an hour now.

When the bell finally rings signalling the end of transfiguration you bet your arse i was the first one out that door. No offensr to the poor bloke but he talked about his last name for seven minutes. 

I genuinely didn't know that was possible. He must've been nervous as hell. He's a ravenclaw and spewed out twenty facts about the origin of his last and first name.

I have a free period before lunch and me and Mary are going out to the courtyard to stroll around for a bit. Lily and Remus have their first prefect meeting of the year, Marlene and James is in detention, Alice and Frank wanted to do some lovey dovey thingies or whatever, Sirius was.. i don't even know and Peter was on his way but he had classes all the way across the school and wanted to pick up a book from the library before heading here.

Not that i mind because the amount of gossip Mary has collected in not even a day is astonashing. And i mean that seriously, like i think she could go on our entire free period. I guess the students of hogwarts are getting right back into the gossip.

I can only brace muself for when Peter comes. He's awesome, don't get me wrong but i think he could be more interested in the precise color of the grass than gossiping.

And there he comes, striding through the courtyard, tripping over his untied shoelaces multiple times and dropping books. Poor Peter, always so clumsy.

'Hey Mary, hey Rory' he greets us both.
And then Mary, who, after six years of knowing Peter still doesn't realize he doesn't give a shit, unleashes the storm. 'Guess who i saw hooking up with Laura'. Unfortunately i couldn't tell you who in the fuck-nuckles 'Laura' is so i can't guess who she hooked up with either.

'Who?' I ask taking the bait. 'Jakob' Mary answers earning a gasp from Peter who apparantly knows Jakob i guess. I gave up trying to understand who Laura was a few minutes ago.

Our dramatic gossip sesion is interupted by Lily who had just gotten back from her prefect meeting. She said it was alright and she told us when she was patrolling the halls so we would know when we could sneak out to hogsmead.

Our conversation eventually lead to our halloween costumes for this year's party thrown by the marauders. It's always a huge party usually after a ton of pranks. This is the only prank a year in wich me and marlene help. But the girls don't have to know that.

The marauders asked us in first year if we wanted to help and it's been a tradition of ours ever since. Last year we dyed all of the uniforms in halloween colors and made all of the food turn into pumpkins. At least those were the mayor ones, we did a lot more.

I'm guessing the boys will ask us to brainstorm soon enough because this is always one of the biggest pranks of the year and we go all out. I've already stocked up on dungbombs and hairdye, who knows what we'll need it for. Fortunatly for us, Remus is a prefect alongside Lily this year, wich means we can roam the halls without anyone bothering us.

After our free period ends we go to eat lunch in the great hall and move to our classes. The rest of the day moves on without any complications right up untill me and Marlene, acompanied my the rest of the girl, walk into the common room. We're imeadiatly ushered over to the group of marauders spread across multiple couches.

All of the others look at me and Marlene as if we're maniacs when we slowly walk over to them without questioning their motives.

I'm relatively close with the four boys but i've always preferred having friends of my own instead of being friends with someone because they're my brother's friends. Marlene is also friendly with them because of quidditch, not that that means she won't shout at them on occasion.

Marlene sits down on the far end of the couch and the rest of the girls shoot us one last suspicious look before going up the stairs.

I flop on an armchair in the corner, next to marlene's couch

Now me and Marlene are sitting with the most famous pranksters of the school, her on the utter left side of the couch, slightly squeezed to the side of the couch, me in the armchair and the rest of them sprawled all over.

Peter is sitting on the right side, his legs dangling of, remus is resting his head on the couch whilst sitting on some pillows, james is laying on his stomach with his head almost falling off and his feet on peter's lap and sirius is....

I don't even know how to describe his position. He's laying across two different couches with his head hanging off one side.  I can't imagne that position being comfortable.

'Soo' James said, stretching out the o 'any idea's?'
