Screams could be heard in the background of an apartment.
"S-stay away from me. Freak!"
Amber heard from the room across to her. Waking Joseph from his sleep she whispered to him, "Hey! Wake up. Something's happened."
Dazed and waking, "huh? What is it?" Rubbing his eyes with his fingers. Thumping was heard, Amber went to open the door. It was Matt and Carly in their nightly pajamas.

"Hey you guys ok? I heard some loud noise." Amber paused for a bit before responding to Matt. "Uhh...thats not coming from our side." Peeking out Amber could hear noises from the other side of the room of the hotel. Pointing to the other side to signal the others, Amber spoke aloud "T-there I can hear it." With the field that Amber had to work in, it was required that she always processed multiple information while listening to emergency calls simultaneously.

The three approached the door slowly, looking towards each other. Matt could only go forward, the girls saw him approach. Placing his head against the door he proceeds to listen. Hearing nothing Matt decides to knock on the door. "Hello? I heard some loud noise in there, is everything ok?"

Being silent for awhile they waited for a response. Not hearing anything they thought it was nothing. "What's going on?" yawned loudly Joseph. Carly yelped with the anticipation, "Eek!~"

"Geez why is everyone quiet?" Scratching his chest before fully opening his eyes. Matt brought his hand into the air to alarm him. After a few more seconds Matt finally broke silence. "I think its nothing serious. I don't hear anyone on the other side."

"Right!" Amber screamed. "Uh no time to explain lets go back to the station. Its an emergency me and Carly have to go do something real quick."

"What? Just have whoever there do it." Complained Carly.

"Can't Directors orders, we need to go back. Were missing abled bodies apparently." Amber rushed to Carly's room to grab the car keys

Following Amber she asked "Huh? Were on vacation though!"

"Yeah well, director said we will be free once we're done with this assignment." Carly grabbed the keys and handed it to Amber who was struggling to find it.

"sigh I guess I will have to get ready." before she could grab her towel, Amber told her "No time, we need to go now. It is an emergency this time. I will explain on the way." As they left towards the car, the room across from them showed a man getting his guts torn apart. With his esophagus crushed he could make no more noise. He is long dead from bleeding out as his eyes were no longer full of life. His then girlfriend now a zombie screeches in the feast. Although it was loud, it did not alarm anyone else. Especially Ambers group, who were already ears away from the noise level.

Cutting back to Zairo strolling through the dark alley streets. He makes his way to the nearest police station. Already dealing with a few infected along the way, his metal bat became drenched in blood. In the early infection phase they are not too difficult to deal with. Most likely due to weak transmission signals for the infected to be a threat. The motor functions are lessened to a great extent until it reaches to the brain. Or so at least in theory Zairo recalled from a zombie expert. Until then the infected are not at full capacity.

"Help! Somebody help me!" Zairo saw the man screaming towards the girl. With aggressive pursuit her legs began to tire out. As her assailants proximity becomes shorter and shorter, her life was almost finished. Had it not been for Zairo quick to action that is.

Seeing the face of the man crushed into watermelon bits she screeches from the shock. "Hey you!" Zairo screamed to her. "Gah!" Without able to calm her down, Zairo needed to get her attention. "Shut up and listen!" She hushes from the tone of his voice. "Y-yes?"

Confused she tried to ask for further questions "W-wha". Interrupting her he yelled "Get to the nearest Bus station, can you do that?" Trembling from his rough voice she spoke back "I-I don't even know where it even is."

Irritated from explaining a simple demand, Zairo had to assess her thought process to make things simple for her. Looking at her now he noticed that she seemed to be a little too young to be outside. "Fine! Why don't I take you there instead. Follow me." Changing directions, Zairo noticed that she was not making her way towards him. "What's wrong?" Looking embarrassed she replied to him "I-I soiled myself a few minute ago..."

"It will be fine just get on!" Sitting on the back support of the bike they held tightly to Zairos waist. Making their way to the school bus they had a little conversation. "My names Vianette what's your name mister?"

"Just call me Z for now." Looking to the ground solemnly she asks Zairo "What's going on? Why is everyone hurting each other?"

"They are just like what the movies portray them as, Zombies." disappointed she frowned hoping to have heard for a better explanation "oh..." Taking a quick glance to his back, "Vianette right? What were you even doing out so late anyway? Where are your parents? Don't you know you should not be out at this time?". Not being able to answer any of his question she could only stay silent after that. Trying not to get too nosy, Zairo too stayed silent.

Able to make his way to the bus station plaza, he broke the security office window and grabbed some keys. "Here make sure to bring the bike with you, were going to need it still." She complied and followed.

Going from bus to bus Zairo tested each keys to gain access on the drivers door. With no guidance it took him awhile to find the right key for the right bus. "Where do I put the bike?" Vianette shyly asked.

"Just put the bike to the side, go ahead and sit. You are safe from danger for now." Turning the engine on, he closes the side door. Ramming the entrance gate he caused Vianette to jolt forward hurting herself from the impact.  Looking back from her groans of pain he feels guilty. "I'm sorry are you okay?" he said. Zairo noted that he would need to install seat belts to the bus once he's at the base. . Recalling how dangerous vehicles can be from the inside without seat belts.

Driving to the Police station would take a while, in the mean time Zairo would need to strategize and preserve as much of his energy as much as he can.

Although Zairo has no idea who she is, all he knows is that she is most likely in her teens. Her hair bright blonde, her outfit seems rugged. Zairo can only assume she was a runaway teen. Vianette was lucky to have been in the same area as Zairo. Had he been a few minutes too early or late her fate would have ended.
