Descendants: Mals family

Chapter 4

"Hello love." Hades said looking at the door. "I haven't seen you in a few decades."

"Oh shut it, Hades." Nyx said with a laugh. "So Mal's pregnant, I never thought you'd be a grandfather. I'm proud of you."

"Thank you Nyx, it's shame she can't be here. Our daughter is pregnant and she's stuck as a lizard." Hades sighed before everything he and Maleficent were  happy they were in love.

"Well not anymore, thanks to Fairy Godmother." Came a voice that Hades knew all too well, once again he turned around and saw the woman he once called his wife. Maleficent.

"Hello Maleficent." Hades said his heart beating as he got closer to Maleficent. "You're as beautiful as the day I left you." He said quietly, placing a hand on her cheek then embracing Maleficent. "Te he echado de menos. Mi amor." and it was the truth. Since he became a part of Mal's life he had a chance to think about the family he could have had. "Let's go see our daughter."

As Maleficent and Hades left the room, hands intertwined Nyx smiled. "Maybe there's hope for you yet, old friend." She whispered, Hades was always her favourite out of Cronus's kids. She hated Zeus with a passion because he was an arrogant and uncaring.

Back at the hospital wing Uma and Evie were just leaving Mal's room when they saw Maleficent and Hades. "She's asleep now." Evie said. "It's good to see you Maleficent. Mal has missed you a lot."

It took a good 5 hours before Mal came to she had a wonderful chat with Evie and Uma about the 3 of them being family and it was amazing. Then she looked at the chairs and couldn't believe what she saw. "Mom. Dad?" She said tears in her eyes.

"Yes Mal we're here." Maleficent said stroking her daughter's hair. "You're so beautiful." She added tears in her own eyes. "Damn it, it's been so long, I was scared I forgot how to be a mom."

"You were better at parenting her than me." Hades said putting an arm around Maleficent. "As far as I can see you did a great job. Now that you're back we can be our own family."

"Hades what if I'm not worthy?" Maleficent whispered in Hades ear.

" excuse us one second Mal." Hades said dragging Maleficent outside into the corridor. "Talk to me Maleficent, what's up?" He asked with a gentle and caring tone.

"Hades I'm Maleficent, I haven't been good since that prince cut my wings off, I don't know how to be good, I'm evil right to my heart." Maleficent said.

"Just because somebody stumbles and loses their way. It doesn't mean they are lost forever. It will take time, but you can be good again. And this time I won't abandon you." Hades promises. "I swear on my immortal soul."

"You mean it?" Maleficent asked.

"I made a mistake abandoning you and Mal. I'll be damned if I do it again." Hades said looking down at Maleficent. "You were never not worthy. In fact you're still worthy." Hades said kissing Maleficent forehead. "Let's go back to our daughter."
