A layer of cloth wasn't able to keep the rotting smell away from the nostrills of either of Daniel or of the other policemen who entered Leo's house. Fighting with the smell in order to breath, they were searching the whole place. Leo was still outside sitting on his knees, shocked, while Natasha was keeping an eye on him.

She placed her hand on Leo's shoulder and told him,
"Confess while you can Mr. Leo, less work for us and a leniant punishment for you, there's no way to completely deny it and you must be aware of all that alredy since you're a master of law."

Natasha's words weren't empty, she meant all of it and Leo was fully aware of that. He very well knew the consequences of his actions that were going to take place, thus he simply nodded in affirmation towards Natasha.

Just then, both of them heard running footsteps inside the house. They had found something. Leo went inside with Natasha where all the policemen and Daniel were standing inside the basement. Natasha's footsteps accelerated towards the place where Daniel was standing out of mere curiosity.

The moment she saw what there was, she closed her eyes out of disgust. It was a human male body, whose head was cut off, and it seemed to be rotting for a few days.
"It's john." Daniel exclaimed.
Natasha nodded and ran out of the house and caught her breath which she had been holding since she saw John's body.

"You're under arrest for murder of John, Mr. Leo. You have the right to attorney and the right to remain silent." Daniel said while putting handcuffs on Leo. This time, Leo didn't try to run or get angry anymore, he simply cooperated with what Daniel was doing.

Leo was visited by a rather , as people said, cruel prosecutor. Leo was aware of that, and he had prepared thoroughly for every word he was about to say. No-one would want to get in more trouble that they alredy were in, and the same was for Leo's case.

When the time of questioning had arrived, the first five minutes went away in silence, with both the prosecutor and and Leo trying to analyse each other's facial expressions while keeping a poker face on themselves.

"Will you confess, or do you want to play around? You won't get away with any choice you make though." The prosecutor glared at Leo.

"I surely won't waste any time of yours and that of mine as well, I just hope you listen to the whole thing I'm about to tell you." Leo said with a serious expression on his face.

The prosecutor sat down on the chair in front of Leo, not stopping his deadly glare, which could be felt even when his face wasn't seen.
"Go ahead then." He said while turning on the voice recorder on his laptop.

" I hated John a lot when he said that law professors are useless, but not to the extent of killing him. And even if I did kill him, I would try my best not to attract any attention to it, but I still shaved his head and god knows why I put it in a giftbox." Leo paused as his hands couldn't stop shaking.

"Are you confessing to murdering John right now?" The prosecutor added right on the pause. Leo nodded while glaring at him, as if telling him not to inetrrupt him once more.

"I received an email the day before I killed john, it told me to kill him. At first, I simply thought of it as spam but then, that asshole sent me a picture of my wife who had gone to visit her parents the same day." Leo continued to speak while trying to muster up the courage.

"I want you to quietly investigate the person that sent me those emails, you can't even imagine how terrified I am right now with every word that I say." Leo said while continuously tapping his foot to the floor.

The prosecutor put a stop on Leo's words with a hand gesture and told him, " How exactly am I supposed to believe your words, mister?" He said in a serious tone.
