I proposed to Angel two days ago, we've not told anyone yet and have just been enjoying being in our little bubble.
I don't think I've ever felt so relaxed in my whole 31 years of living, everything at the company is running smooth and quietly, the renovations on the cafè are all going to plan and training Bear has been easier than we thought.
Tonight we're going to Arthur's home along with my mom for dinner as usual but this time we're telling them of the engagement.
We're taking Bear for Sophia to play with; she is insanely obsessed with this puppy.
I woke up without my love cuddling into me as I usually would. I rub my eyes before standing up, stretching, brushing my teeth and heading downstairs.
"Why are you awake so early?" my voice husks as I stand behind Angelica, prop my chin on her shoulder and wrap my arms around her waist.
She's currently icing a large chocolate cake as music plays in the background.
"I made cake" she whispers before moving her head to look into my eyes
I press my lips to hers, my minty breath mixing with hers, I pull back after a minute "I can see that"
"Then why are you asking?" I scowls
I press my forehead against hers "Shush"
I step away and grab a bottle of water "Is the cake for us?"
"..."
"Angel?"
"No" she mumbles quietly
I groan practically on the verge of tears "You never make them for us though!"
"I know but Serena begged for one"
"Why can't she make one?"
"I love her but her baking skills aren't exactly amazing Franco, plus its for her Grandma's birthday; she promised to make one"
"She's going to say that she made the cake you made?" I chuckle
Angel nods "I don't mind"
"Why are you so nice?" I hold her body to mine making her laugh sweetly
I start making breakfast as she finishes packing the cake up for Serena
"What do you want to do today baby?"
"We need to walk Bear and wait for Serena to come get the cake" she tells me
I nod and plate up the food
We finish eating not long after and head upstairs to change, it's warm today so Angel wears a sweet little skirt and top set that she bought not long ago while I wear jeans and a grey t-shirt
