Joshua's sole response out of anxiety was, "Missed me?" He mentally prepared himself for the events that occurred.
"Yeonjun, Soobin, take care of the customers," one of them said, while the other yanked Joshua's hand out of the shop. The pair just gave the American a death gaze. Finally, the taller male chose to open his mouth.
" Missed me? Yah! Was that the first thing that sprang to mind when you saw us? " questioned Jun cynically.
"Of course we did," Minghao said, flashing a bright smile and pulled Joshua into a hug. While it lasted a few seconds, they heard someone cough.
"That's enough," Jun remarked, feeling a little envious.
"That was just a friendly hug, dude," Joshua said, but Jun still sulked significantly. Even though the three had just met for five minutes, there was a lot of "drama" going on.
Minghao murmured, "Stop sulking, you overgrown baby," and his boyfriend smiled.
"Anyways, let's talk about you guys," Joshua said, to which Minghao shrugged. "We own a cafe, as you can see."
"And we're as happy as we can be," Jun stated. Joshua was pleased to discover that his friends had formed a life together, but he felt a little jealous. Why couldn't he have a happy ending? Why couldn't he find the one? Why didn't any of his relationships work out? Why did Seok—
"How are you doing?" Minghao said, interrupting Joshua's active chain of thinking.
"Well, I work at Queens Group" Joshua's admission prompted the pair to gasp.
"That's where more than half of our gangs work" stated Minghao, to which Joshua sneered.
"That's not the worst part" Jun gave him a puzzled look and shouted, "There's more?"
"Seokmin's kinda my PA," admitted the American, prompting the other two to place their palms on their mouths in disbelief.
"That's one twisted tale!" Minghao said. However, something unexpected occurred to Joshua.
"I saw Jeonghan and Seungcheol earlier, they were holding hands" replied the man. "How did the rivalry end?"
Jun and Minghao exchanged smiling glances. What happened that caused the gangs to merge?
