“WHEN UMEMIYA TOLD ME TO TEND ON SOMETHING IMPORTANT, NOBODY TOLD ME THAT IT WAS THIS”—Sakura couldn't help but tremble in anger from this type of deception

WHEN UMEMIYA TOLD ME TO TEND ON SOMETHING IMPORTANT, NOBODY TOLD ME THAT IT WAS THIS”—
Sakura couldn't help but tremble in anger from this type of deception. He was pumped to beat up some people who may be threatening the people of the town, but the bi-colored eye boy did not expect the errand to be accompanying a girl.

“I apologize; it was Umemiya who invited me to hang out, but it seems he had another plan,” the girl, who was like a walking suncatcher, bowed deeply to the boy, who blushed at the gesture. “Tsk, that Umemiya.  .  . if he had relationship problems, he shouldn't have involved me,” [Name] smiled at the boy, who couldn't even meet her eyes. Despite the harsh and unfiltered words coming from his mouth, there's no denying that Haruka Sakura is an adorable boy.

They walked in companionable silence, their steps echoing softly on the cobblestone streets. The sky above was a canvas of muted grays, a somber reflection of the day's mood, yet Sakura found himself drawn to the warmth radiating from the girl beside him. It was a warmth that defied the chill in the air, a sanctuary of light in a grim landscape.

As they strolled, Sakura's gaze lingered on her form, silently observing her every movement. He watched the way her hair, the color of dark nights with twinkling stars, danced in the wind, catching the faintest glimmer of sunlight that dared to pierce through the clouds.

Her presence was a radiant force, a living embodiment of the sun's life-giving power. He felt a strange pull towards her, a magnetic force drawing him closer, seeking the whispering promises of warmth and light that could banish the shadows and illuminate his world.

If a goddess of the Sun were to walk among mortals, Sakura thought, she would surely resemble this girl.

“Do you like shiny things, Sakura-kun?” the girl subconsciously covered her earrings, feeling a little shy under the boy's gaze. “W-why are you asking me tha— HEY, DON'T GIVE ME THAT WEIRD LOOK, I WASN'T LOOKING AT YOUR EARS!” [Name] raised her brow at how obvious the boy was. “Tell that to someone who would believe you, Sakura-kun.”

She couldn't suppress the chuckle that escaped her lips before walking slightly ahead of the blushing boy.

[Name]'s relationships with boys had always been a curious dance. Surrounded by them, she often felt like a delicate flower in a boisterous field, her presence attracting a swarm of buzzing bees. Although those who cared for her well-being always told her it was because they found her charming, which attracted unwanted attention from the male population, she struggled to see it. In her own eyes, she was simply a girl, a bit awkward, a bit shy, with a tendency to lose herself in the various glass cuttings that represented the mosaic of her craft.

But being with select few like Sakura made her feel like a delusional fan of a K-pop idol who thinks they're in love with them after only admiring them from afar. They made her feel like she was interesting enough to capture their attention, that she was, well, pretty.

Even though she was pretty sure they just looked at her because of the funny shiny accessories she wore.

Although she wished they were really looking at her.

“If you want one too, I can make you one!” the girl offered a warm smile, making the boy scowl. “Again, I am not interested in getting any colorful accessories like those,” Sakura sighed, pointing at her earrings and headbands. “Those kinds of things only look interesting because you're wearing them,” he stated as if it were the most obvious thing.

A mischievous glint danced in the girl's eyes, a playful challenge rising within her. “So does that mean I've caught your attention?” she teased, expecting a blush, a denial, the usual dance they shared. But instead, his gaze softened, his silence speaking volumes.
