Ryoko, Hajime, Yue, along with the Haulia Tribe traversed within the [Raisen Great Canyon].
Several demonic beasts tried to attack them but to no avail. Those who did try to assault the Rabbitman tribe members were gun down with a single bullet.
Every time they shot, the smell of gunpowder lingers in the air. The Rabbitman tribe looked baffled at how absurdly easy Hajime and Ryoko had exterminated them with their weapons. The corpses of these beasts were just scattered around, bleeding blood out of the holes they were shot at.
One child in particular, was noticibly closed to Ryoko, seemingly observing and admiring him upclosed as if he was a hero.
"Fufufu~ Ryoko-san. You should give the little ones some attention~. Look! They're waving at you. You should wave back."
Shia teased, and when Ryoko tried to ignore her, the bunny girl continued to pester him even more.
His left hand reached down to a diffrent holster, retrieving a gun before pointing it at his intended target.
DOPAN! DOPAN! DOPAN!
"Awawwawawawawagh?!"
Shia, having already know the mechanism of those strange weapons, use her agility to somehow dodge his shots. Her frantic dodges made her look like a professional tap dancer, which irritated him further.
"Hold still you maggot!"
Shia's father, Kam was amused at this comical scene. He had a wry smile, while Yue looked at her with an expressionless marvel.
"Haha, so Shia and Ryoko-dono are already that close. It looks like Shia has already hit that age, huh? Father will feel a bit lonely, but if it is Ryoko-dono, then I can be relieved."
Even though his daughter was still in the midst of dodging his shots, Kam began invision the day Shia would be marry. He even shed a tear out of the corner of his eyes when he imagined himself walking his beautiful daughter down the isle. The other tribe members also began look at her a warm gaze, and although she was still screaming for help to her tribe members, all the them were still occupied fantasying about Shia's future wedding.
"Wait, what give you that idea?"
"... Unbelievable." Yue muttered.
It was as Yue said. It seemed as though the Haulia Tribe were lacking common sense. It's likely that every member of the tribe were all the same.
After walking for a long time, their group finally arrived at the entrance of the (Raisen Great Canyon). There was a finely built staircase for as far as Ryoko could see, even with (Far Sight). The stairs were built by cutting alongside the cliff face, zigzagging every 50 meters. The (Haltina Sea of Trees) was around half a day's walk after exiting the (Raisen Great Canyon).
When Hajime gazed towards up the run of the canyon, Shia uneasily asked.
"Do you see any of the empire's soldiers?"
"Hm? What can I say... There's a possibility that they've been annihilated already..."
"Th-that is... Supposed that the empire's soldiers are around, Hajime-san... What will you do then?"
"What do you mean by that?" Ryoko raised an eyebrow.
Ryoko couldn't understand what Shia was trying to ask. The ears of the Haulia Tribe perked up because of her question.
"Unlike demonic beasts, the enemy this time will be the empire's soldiers, the human race, you know? A human like Hajime-san and Ryoko-san…… are you sure you two will be able to fight them?
