Study Guide 01: Adeptus Mechanicus, Sect of the Machine God, Omnissiah, and Motive Force.Among the peculiar yet prevalent branch of the Abrahamic Pantheon that live to this day and showed a wide scope of influence and followers was the Adeptus Mechanicus.
As disbelieving and mind-boggling of such a branch exist within the region of the One God, none could deny the benefits and blessings they have brought to humanity.
Their strange practices often focuses on the usage of logic and faith, reason and morality, innovation and ethics.
Strange their way of faith might be they are often if not the fourth most largest following on earth.
Preceeded only by its more older and less scientific focused primary branches of the Abrahamic Pantheon.
The Adeptus Mechanicus focuses not on the act of worshipping and sermons such as spreading the good news or speaking of the promised salvation that the One God would give to mankind.
The Adeptus Mechanicus similar to its Christian Brethren worships and revered the holy trinity albeit the former being different of what they perceive the father, the son, and the holy spirit might be.
Their idea of the trinity is made up by the Machine God the counterpart of the Father, Omnissiah the counterpart of the Son, and the Motive Force as the counterpart of the Holy Spirit.
Their practices focuses on the study and innovation of the universe and its mystery for which they believe to have been made purposely by the all-knowing Lord of as they call the Heavenly Lord as the Machine God.
They were the source of what became known as Science through the many fields the Adeptus Mechanicus studied and developed throughout their history.
It is them who innovated marvels of technology far beyond other civilizations at the time, from vast steam powered armored warmachines to the gargantuan titan-cathedrals that we all know today.
It becomes more absurd as they see their inventions as entities that make up the endless cogs of their Machine God whom crafted everything from primordial forges that gave way to the fires that brought existence into shape.
By all accounts do they not only possess a greater logical capacity than any other humans and not just through their augmentation that stripped them of their flesh with machinery though some prefer to remain human mostly those that follow the biological beach of the Mechanicus.
Interviews throughout the ages and through books written and spread by the Adeptus Mechanicus explains their behavior, believing that it tighten their connection their version of the Holy Trinity.
This varies from simple augmentation, cybernetics or full conversion which let's their soul take a digital form that is bound between the material and immaterial world.
Despite their seemingly immense logical mindset they still hold to revere or worship God or the Machine God in their case.
Mixing logic with faith to keep them from falling into degradation, the Mechanicus after all abhor the disregard of their emotions, morality, and ethics three holy laws which if broken may receive severe consequences from their fellow brothers and sisters if ever known or discovered.
