(3rd POV)

"You are troubled Goetia?" Goeta, the collective consciousness of the 72 demonic gods fixed his gaze on the angel before him.

"A bit... I understand that this is the wishes of humanity and their choice to be independent from the Father..." His eyes transfixed over some of the dilapidated structure on a major city of Israel.

It wasn't terrible or widespread it was a rare sighting to behold across Israel, Solomon's reforms and changed helped remove the worse of poverty with help of the guidance of the Father.

"Yet... still I hear some of mankinds yearn for a better life, they scorn and cry to the Father, wondering why they be granted such cruelty?" Goetia asked.

"This is life, from the moment man had chosen freedom instead of the paradise and guiding will of the Father, endless possibilities would be born fruit of their every actions." The angel replied.

"Yet that does not necessitate the Father to be indifferent and blind to the suffering of his children? Does he not love them?" Goetia questioned and his words would no doubt sound heretical to the followers of the Creator if they've heard it.

"Oh, Goetia you have much to learn just to understand the plight man have put themselves, it is not that the Father is indifferent or blind to their sufferings..." The angel gazed upon the small slums only seen at the farthest corners of the city.

Home to vagabonds, the homeless, the pariah, and many more, each had their reasons why they've ended in such a state.

"The Father knows yet he does not act for if he does mankind would be dependent upon him..." Goetia stared in confusion, his black inky silhouette tilted at the lack of understanding.

"Dependent? Has not mankind already been dependent upon him since they're ancestors left Eden?" Goetia questioned, a frown would be etched on his lips If he had any.

"There is a difference between necessity and desire... you know this well, when had the Father act by the whims of others?" The angel was right, Goetia had not seen the Creator ever act randomly.

It always have a purpose be it small or great, he always acts in the best interest of the many or of the few.

"Right... but is it so wrong to indulge on their desires?" Goetia countered as the angel hummed.

"Perhaps not... but there will be times that one must set aside their desires for their sake, not always does it bring good to them and perhaps to others." Goetia remained silent from hearing the angel's words.

"Then why? Why be so silent of their plight?" It was always the question that he had wondered since his inception and duty to Solomon and the people of Israel.

"A Father wishes nothing more than to see his children's grow and learn to he independent, to shape their own paths and to forge a future of their own design... a Father's love is hard and may not be so seen easily by his children's yet as they grow they will understand." The angel explained.

"Love... such a strange concept is it why he he sometimes punishes his children's? To have them repent for their mistake? Does his love warrants to bring pain upon them?" Goetia asked with narrowed eyes.

"Yes." That wasn't what he would expect as the angel noted. "You wonder why? It is simply the duty and burden of a father, we love because we knew hate, hate born from a love of something that you do anything to see them be saved or protected."

Goetia felt confused... his words seemed to contradict yet somehow he felt like it works as does every act of the Creator.

A being not bound by logic or reason, a being who transcends the impossibility and turn dreams into reality.

Such was the nature of God and his love for creation... he may love but he to know to hate for he chose to do so out of love, to love is to know hate, to be joyful is to know sadness, to humble is to know pride.

All things have a duality that complements their existence, mankind is born of the Light and Void from where alk things began and end, it is the nature bestowed by God.

Neither curse nor blessing, simply a part of what makes them all equal in nature, they are ever stagnant as they are ever changing.

Cold Logic against fervent belief, reason against faith, truth against lie... meaning was always the desire all things made by the creator, they question, they wonder, they search for answer.

The unknowable to be known, to grant a sense of reason or meaning for everything they experience, it clicked to Goetia something that he had been wondering for sometime.

"Mankind seeked to justify their mistakes and cast the blame on others, we are the makers of our sin, the origin of our pain, the choices mankind makes is what cast their fate." Goetia thought.

"I see... so in the creator's desire to see mankind grow and prosper they must be made aware of their own suffering, a necessary evil to keep mankind away from excess in ignorance or blindness." The angel smiled nodding silently.

"Ignorance may be a bliss but in time it too can become a curse... it is better to know the truth than to be blinded by a lie... if awareness may be a challenge against prosperity, then one's ignorance is damnation." The angel finished as light descended upon the city.

"So let this be a lesson Goetia, we suffer but it is never eternal, we just have to make the right choice." The angel spoke as he stared into the descending light.

"The question is... what choice will you take?"
