Camille had just gotten back to her room after being out with Nate,talking and laughing like they did before,when Alaric had called a meeting in the grand hall to discuss the artifact they found on their forgotten road trip,she didn't want to go to the meeting,as she was tired and wanted to get some more sleep,yet she went anyways.
"Yesterday I came into possession of another Malivore artifact. It was my hope to find a method of containment before it signaled another monster,but given the emergency meeting i've just called,i'm sure you can guess how well that went,but rest assured we are taking every precaution.Sheriff Donovan has been kind enough to open the doors of the Lockwood Mansion to us,so Mr Williams and Ms Tig are now in the process of evacuating our students from the lower grades" Alaric announced to his students as whispers went around the room.
"Why don't we just evacuate the damn artifact?" Camille heard Kaleb say as she nodded,she personally thought that life would be much more at peace if they just forgot about Malivore all together.
"We are much more well-equipped than the world at large to handle the arrival of a monster,once we know what we're dealing with and the problem is contained,then we can reassess what to do with the artifact. If any of you would like to evacuate,pleas talk to Dorian or Emma,however,exam week will continue as scheduled,wherever you are" Groans and sighs were heard as Alaric apologized.
"I can't exactly call the state accreditation board and tell them that we're canceling the exams because of monsters,we'll get through this,i promise,try and get some rest,good night" Alaric finished his speech as Camille hurriedly got up out of her seat and went back to her room,jumping onto her bed and getting under her blankets to finally get some sleep.
Camille woke up to find herself in New Orleans, in an empty bar. She looked around to see nobody,but heard screaming further back in the bar. She slowly walked towards it to see her mother,Davina,in her father's arms,dead. Blood dripped from her neck as her blood was on Kols face. She softly gasped as Kol turned around,looking at Camille.
"You could've stopped this,just give me what I want" Kol spoke as Camille looked at her father,scared and confused.
"What? What do you want?" she asked him as he stormed towards her.
"YOU KNOW WHAT I WANT, GIVE IT TO ME!" He yelled with a woman behind him as Camille flinched,closing her eyes in fear. She opened her eyes to see nobody in front of her,when suddenly,her father appeared behind her,grabbing her and biting into her neck. Camille screamed in fear as she couldn't get out of his grip as he drained the blood from her neck.
Camille woke up in a sweat,yelling in fear before she had seen she was back in her room,everything normal. She sighed in relief before feeling something dripping down her neck. She lifted her hand to her neck and pulled it away,seeing a crimson liquid on her fingers.
