"Get out of bed!" Audrey shouted, pulling Casey's duvet off of her. "It is 12pm, what are you doing with your life?" She asked, letting out a sigh. "Sleeping." Casey told her, trying to pull her duvet back over her. "Can't you see that?"

"Casey, get sassy with me one more time and I will go get water to throw over you and I'm not even joking." Audrey said, hand on her hips as she stood at the side of Casey's bed. Casey groaned face down into her pillow, wanting to be left alone.

"Just get up!" Audrey shouted again, this time stealing one of her pillows to hit her with. "I don't want to!" Casey shouted back, sitting up to grab the pillow that was she was being hit with.

"You cannot stay in bed all day." Audrey told her. "Yes, I can." Casey said, letting herself fall onto her back again and pulled the duvet over her as she did.
"We're leaving Spain tomorrow, don't you want to have a nice day before we leave?" She asked, looming over Casey.

"Not particularly." Casey answered as she rolled over onto her side, away from Audrey. "You have five seconds to get up or I grab a leg and begin pulling." Audrey threatened, her eyes widening with seriousness even though Casey couldn't see it.

Casey didn't move, nor did she say anything so as Audrey promised, she grabbed a leg and began pulling. "Ah, you bitch!" Casey cried as her ass hit the hotel room floor. "You're welcome." Audrey said, crossing her arms over her chest with smugness.

"I don't even have anything to do today." Casey said, still on the floor. "Rowan found a recording studio not far from here and phoned, they have some space for this afternoon." Audrey told her, kneeling down to her level and putting a piece of stray hair behind her ear.
"You want me to record?" Casey asked.

"Yeah, I know it's not your normal studio and it won't be the people you normally work with but I think recording some of the songs you've been writing would be good for you." Audrey said, a small smile on her face.

She followed Audrey's advice and spent most of the day there beginning to record the songs she'd written over the last few weeks. Casey had written ten new songs, and with the other three she already had, she could make it an album if she wanted to and that seemed like the only thing to do really.

It would at least be a good distraction, which she'd imagined was why Audrey had suggested it in the first place. There was one song that she'd written that stuck out to her the most and kind of captured the vibe of all the other songs too, so she decided that the album would be named after it.

The song was called 'Us', and as she recorded it at the studio, she began settled on calling the album 'The Secret of us.' It was fitting. And it felt kind of right. This was the quickest an album was coming together for her and it was quite exciting. And plus, maybe releasing all the songs about how she'd been feeling would offer her some kind of closure. Or she hoped it would.

She'd given some thought to calling Oscar like Audrey and Rowan had told her too, but she couldn't bring herself too. Maybe she could if she gave herself more time. It was only last night that they'd told her she should. And she did really  wonder why Oscar has called her, what if it was important?

She flew to France on Tuesday, preforming there that night. On Wednesday, her and Audrey and Rowan found another studio to work on the album. It really had become a good distraction. It was all she'd thought about the past couple of days. Pouring all of her energy into it meant she couldn't just lay in bed and wallow in self-pity when she wasn't performing.

Casey had made a lot of progress on the album by the time she'd finished the European leg of her tour and arrived back in NewYork. It was Sunday the 30th of June and the first full-day she was spending back in NewYork. She'd arranged to get her photograph taken for her album. However, she was beginning to regret that.
