It was early in the morning and Casey had just woken up to see she had a message from Carmen on her phone. It was her fifth day in Monaco, a Friday and she would be leaving on Sunday which led her to consider doing what the message said since she'd be gone soon.
Just hear him out x
Casey was reading over the message for the hundredth time when Audrey came into her room. "Didn't know if you'd be up." She said, crossing the room to sit on Casey's bed. "Are you okay after yesterday?" Audrey asked, concern on her face. "You didn't come out of your room and Rowan didn't say much."
"Yeah, I'm fine." She told her friend, putting a small smile on her to try and convince her of it. "I was just a little overwhelmed. I have a lot going on at the moment." Casey said and she did, between the thing with George and the situation she was in with Oscar, her head was all over the place with thoughts of what she should do. It was like if she stepped on foot wrong with either of them, a bomb would go off.
Things with Oscar were okay though, she just had to avoid thinking off where their 'relationship' was going and she was golden. It broke her heart to think there was no future with him but realistically, was there? Nobody other than Rowan even knew about them. And he also knew because of a fucking hoodie.
And Casey was just at a loss when it came to George, she didn't know what to do. She knew she needed to speak to him and she would before he left, she just had no clue what to say to him. But given Carmen's message, maybe all she had to do was listen.
"Well, I think we're having a day by the pool since we've not used it yet so maybe that will help you chill out a bit because you still seem a little stressed."
"Yeah, Carmen message me about hearing George out so I have that on my mind. It's probably that you're picking up on."
"Maybe." Audrey said. "Are you going to?" She asked and Casey sighed. "I think so. Don't know when though."
"Don't worry about it today." Audrey told her, putting her hand on Casey's knee. "Just try and relax." Casey nodded her head slightly and gave her an appreciating
smile. "Anyway," Audrey began, letting out sigh and getting up from the bed. "I've put Lando on breakfast duty so I better get downstairs and make sure he doesn't burn the place now." Casey chuckled at the thought as Audrey left the room.Tell him to come to the Villa either tomorrow or Sunday and I'll talk to him x
She messaged Carmen back and then put her phone on the bedside table. Casey wasn't mad at Carmen for telling him she was in Monaco but she did wished she'd stopped her nutcase of a brother from tracking her down and coming over unannounced in the early hours of the evening.
It was then that Casey heard a smoke alarm sound from downstairs and it took all of her to not burst out in laugher at the though that Lando had actually went and started a fire or something like that. Dragging herself out of bed, she went downstairs to see what all the fuss was about and found Audrey on Lando's shoulders trying to turn off the smoke alarm.
"Lando, how do you live on your own and survive?" Casey asked, rubbing sleep from hers eyes as she entered the kitchen. "I don't cook my own meals at home. I have a chef that prepares them for me." He told her, annoying Audrey who was still trying to turn off the smoke alarm as he moved with each word he spoke.
"Of course you do." Casey sighed as she went sit down at the kitchen island. Thankfully, Audrey managed to turn off the smoke alarm and the ringing stopped. Audrey let out a sigh of relief as Lando put her back down onto the floor. "Want some burnt pancakes?" She asked Casey. "Can't say I do." The brunette answered.
